It's fall! The air is growing crisp, the leaves are turning, and the warming smell of pumpkin spice tingles at your nose. Grab your lattes and don your light jackets, it's time to enjoy the season!

[ He has heard, of course, the worst of the horror stories of how unwelcoming the Shroud can be to outsiders. He's been here before on business, of course. That much always seemed excusable, being here because he has some justifiable reason. But being here simply because he wants to be is something else entirely.

And he does very much want to be here, because Gridania in autumn is beautiful. The forest aflame with reds and golds, branches bent low from the weight of fruit. Which he should be picking and putting into baskets, but he's still a little cautious about that. He stares down a particularly red apple as if it were some kind of monster, swallowing nervously as he reaches out. ]
