Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... HOW TO PLAY: Comment with your character, your prefs, etc. If there are other grooming-related practices or kinks you'd like to include, like shaving, hair washing, mention them! Reply to others!

[ Peony is not one to worry, but Kanin'a has a way of bringing it out in her.

Of course, her relief had been immeasurable once the Exarch's attempts to pull him across worlds had actually worked, since she had arrived on the First quite a long time before he had. Not quite so long as Urianger, but longer than the twins, and everyday here felt like ten back on the Source. Like the others, she had been quick to put her skills to use, managing to work her way into Tomra and assisting the engineers there, but it's not enough to keep her mind from wondering, from worrying about what might happen if he did ever arrive, and what the fate of this world might be.

And then, one day...it happens. The Exarch successfully pulls Kanin in from the Source, and though it takes a good while for word to reach her, it does not take her long to act when it does, especially once rumors of nighttime in Lakeland begin to spread. At once she takes her leave, because as important as her work with the dwarves is, it can wait, when the one person who could bring salvation to this world has arrived at last. The one person they've been waiting for all this time...the person she's been waiting for.

So it's not long after Kanin'a reaches Il Mheg that Peony is able to catch up with him and join him on his journeys, just as they so often had back on the Source. In so many ways, it feels like nothing has changed and no time has passed, and yet...it isn't the same at all, is it? Things will never be as they once were, and the fact that either of them are here and alive in such a dangerous place is a miracle. Though it gets safer day by day, that does little to ease her troubled heart, as she quickly learns that the reason the night sky is returning is because it is he who is absorbing the Lightwardens' aether, and with each one they defeat, the burden becomes more and more taxing on his body. It cannot be good for him, and yet they all go along with it, because what else can they do? They have no other recourse unless they want to let this world be consumed by the light.

But soon enough, she cannot take it anymore. She has never been one to sit by and say nothing when she has something to say, and it's killed her to hold her tongue as long as she has. After clearing the Lightwarden from Malikah's Well, they have returned to the Crystarium to regroup and plan their next course of action against Vauthry, and after a night of long deliberations, they at last retire to the Pendants. The Twelve know they can use the rest, and Peony herself is bone tired and sore in places she didn't know she could be sore. She should let Kanin'a rest, too, because when they have to move out again, and strike down the Lightwarden of Kholusia, he'll need all of his strength.

Will even that be enough?

Fed up with her own indecisiveness, she at last tiptoes out of her room and crosses briskly to his, rasping crisply on his door before she can think better of it. ]

[Raine is the sort to be pretty verbose and accepting of most nuances of humanity in general due to their old-ass age. With a huge helping of "humanity is super enduring and awesome in the way they strive for what they want and the ways in which they get it, or burn trying" appreciation. If you want to go any injury route, Raine would be happy to help him clean up and patch up. :) Other than that, they like sowing mostly benign chaos and using their looks and ability to transform into a small cat to get whatever they want, be it food or money.
