[ Dick's voice comes from behind Jason as he walks towards the booth. he recognized the black hoodie and set of Jason's shoulders more than anything else. he thinks that by now, he can recognize Jason in most settings: by gait, by stance, voice for sure, or even by the wisp of untamable hair peeking out the side hem of a hood.

Dick has been in town since late evening, dropping by to talk to Bruce about some things on his mind. he hadn’t told Jason, in fear that he might not be able to stay for long.​]

(the desserts alone might cost more than the reward, but Natsu just wanted to officially take on an S-class quest) They had left it up to Happy to pick out their seats, and Natsu darted off after paying and getting his food, leaving Erza to wait for her order.

Finally, Erza leaves the counter carrying a massive stack of pancakes, covered with whipped cream and strawberries. She doubted that this would be as good as the strawberry cakes that she loves so much, but there's only one way to find out!

Peering around the food, she spots a familiar blue cat, and heads over to sit down in an empty seat beside him.]

Sorry for the wait! [She picks up a fork and starts digging into the pancakes, too focused on them to realize that she's sitting with Rebecca and Happy instead of Natsu and Happy.]
