Will it be a person of your innermost dreams or someone you absolutely can't stand? And most importantly...
 

How are you going to handle it?

1. Post with your character! They're now in the middle of a blind date.
2. Comment to each other! When you do that...

First date

-- You've never been out on a date before, so someone's decided to give you a helping hand.

On the rebound

-- You're recovering from a painful breakup, but your friends/family think they found a great person for you anyway.

Not strangers at all

-- Someone thought you didn't know your date. Turns out you know them from somewhere.
4.

Hideously awkward

-- Hey wait, that's your ex/boss/doctor/distant family member! Or, even worse, it's that person you absolutely despise. This will go well!
5.

Existing partner

-- You two are just acting like strangers to spice up your love life.
6.

Future spouse

-- Unfortunately, you have to have an arranged marriage. Fortunately, you get to meet that special someone for a date beforehand. How will the night go?
7. ...or, instead of rolling, come up with your own scenario!

4. Play out the date. This meme can be completely fluffy, smutty, or hilarious. If you don't want smut, you can put that in your subject. It doesn't even have to be romantic.

[ While literal ghosts in machines--Hulls--were a known facet of life in Doskvol, they were still uncommon and reserved for the rich and elite. Hearing tell of something potentially even more technologically advanced beckoned not only Brickson's curiosity, but one of another wealthy patron. Together, they arranged for the young scion to meet and greet with Stacia, get to know her, see how she proverbially and literally ticked. He was to report back with his findings and, ideally, see if he could replicate such technology. Few would know how better than he.

...Truth be told, however, he was just as nervous as he would be with any other blind date. If this was anything like how a Hull worked then how in the devil was he supposed to replicate a soul? An individual's very life essence? Wouldn't she find that a little offensive...? He tempers his anxieties by tittering with the tie around his neck and smoothing out his frock coat, finding one or two errant white stoat hairs he swats off. He hasn't been waiting long outside of this Very Fancy restaurant, one only deep pockets could afford invitation to. Once he thinks he spots her he takes a deep breath and put on his best smile, approaching with all the charm of a victorian nobleman. The only thing that looks discordant about his prim and proper nature is the glaring scar the cuts across across half his face and the eyepatch that covers it. ]

[sometimes you wind up meeting someone you know at the same blind date event for wildly different reasons. your target a priceless set of jewels up for auction, and theirs a contracted killing that they need to take care of. it's to your mutual benefit to chat and socialize, to put the number of Illumi's target in his hand so he has an excuse to meet them privately, to let the murder be the cover for your theft. the absence won't be noticed when the alarm for a dead man has been raised.

and then, as thanks and apology, to take him out to get whatever he actually wants. as if the police were going to actually come after either of them. Chrollo's been fiddling with something under the cuff of his sleeve for a bit now, but relaxes when the drinks come, content in the moment.]
