THE OTHERWORDLY MEME
Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.

How to play -

[ Summertime found him in the States with his men running rampant through the city enjoying the new urban jungle. Nighttime brought HOMRA out into the crowded streets that weren't as well kept as Tokyo's. Stranger folk walked the streets than the group of young men that looked more like a rowdy gang. After a night out with his men, Mikoto left them to Izumo's care to stretch out his limbs. With his English only so-so, he was made to take his cell and not burn it.

Walking the dark streets of another world, free of responsibilities, Mikoto slowly unwinds stopping to take the view of the strange and unfamiliar city that seemed to accept his presence better than his home. Likely because they had no idea he was there yet. He smirks at the thought, picturing some gov't official doing their damndest to track him down at this very moment.

With his thoughts drifting back to the city at large, he doesn't pay attention to where he's going, or how he ends up in an unexpected place. ]

[Jason had heard vague rumors of a new gang moving into Gotham. He tries to keep track of these stories in case of potential new threats to his territory but so far this gang hasn't been too concerning for him. There are always people trying to make a big name for themselves in the city. It's an overcrowded market and it takes a lot more to stick out compared to being a villain in most other cities.

So Jason did his nightly rounds of maintaining order in his area and watching out for rogues and Bats. So far the night was relatively peaceful and he was enjoying swinging and jumping rooftops.

It was when he landed on a rooftop towards the end of his usual route that he notices a new face in the neighborhood. He wonders just how new to city given the man was walking around at night without a care in the world. Anyone who lived in Gotham long enough knows not to do that in this part of the city]

The crowds of people have long disappeared and the sound of police sirens blaring in the night become commonplace. His boots crunch over a broken bottle, attracting stares from nearby. They stay with him even after he passes and some follow after. He ignores the footsteps behind him and slips a cigarette to the edge of his mouth, lighting the end with a flick of his finger. He drags a lungful of smoke, welcoming the nicotine. Subtle, complex, and powerful.

He relaxes even as the sound of footsteps grows closer. Hearing the approach, he strolls into an alley looking forward to a fight.

[Jason quietly follows while remaining up on the rooftops. The red-headed man's body language doesn't suggest that he's worried about where he is. He doesn't seem to be concerned about the men following him. Him making a turn into an alleyway also appears to be deliberate.

Either the stranger's incredibly unaware of his surroundings and Jason's about to go to work or Jason's about to get a hell of a show. Intrigued, Jason perches himself at the top of a fire escape in the alleyway]
