I'd call Geralt "daddy" any day tbh.
![]() ![]() ![]() Doesn't everyone like to be pampered and spoiled? You could certainly understand the desire. How about receiving the benefits of experience and knowledge...through someone else, someone older than you and more distinguished? Be good, then, and you'll be rewarded. Be bad - well, remember: a punishment isn't off the table for someone with your youth. They're so young - yet so, so tempting. But you know what they say. The more forbidden the fruit, the sweeter the juice. They're absolutely off-limits. And wouldn't you love to taste them, no matter if you feel guilty or not? Look at yourself. Do you feel like a pervert? This person could be an outlier, or maybe you've always had a weakness, even if you didn't realize it before. At least you can take care of them like few others chasing after them could. You know exactly what they want and need.
(possible) SCENARIOS 1. PARENT & CHILD: So, have you been bad? You know what happens to bad kids... 2. OLDER SIBLING & YOUNGER SIBLING: If the parents aren't in the picture, someone has to take care of business. 3. OTHER FAMILIAL RELATIONSHIP: Keepin' it in the family. 4. TEACHER & STUDENT: Don't stand, don't stand so, don't stand so close to me...at least not during schools hours. 5. DOCTOR & PATIENT: An apple a day keeps the doctor away, unless you want to play. 6. CUSTOMER & STRIPPER/DANCER/HOOKER: Older people have the money, younger people need the money. Surely something can be worked out. 7. JAILBAIT: One of you better watch out, because this is trouble with a capital T. 8. THE BABYSITTER: ...you've seen the porn. I don't have to describe this. 9. CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURES: If you don't see something you want, make it up. |

[ Allison moves close to Charlie, adjusting her stance as an example for him. ]
Your feet will be about shoulder width apart with your weight balanced equally. This…
[ She lifts one foot slightly off of the ground and gestures to it, then moving it slightly ahead of the other. ]
Is your draw foot. It goes about four inches in front of the other. You point your toes 30 degrees towards the target and lift the bow like this…
[ Even though she’s been to competitions and done this very same thing for trophies and prize money, she’s never felt a need to be as on her game as she does now. When she lifts her bow, she lifts it with impeccable grace and shoots the arrow directly at the center of the target. There’s a smile on her face when she sees her handiwork. Looking at Uncle Charlie, there’s a hint of pride in her expression. ]
Do you want to give it a try?

[He carefully takes the bow and gets into position, taking a minute to adjust his stance and his feet. Doing his best to copy Allison. For all the skills he learned at the hospital, sports had never quite been his thing. And they certainly weren't allowed anything like this. So this is all new for him.
He aims carefully and shoots, but just barely lands the arrow on the target] Well, I could certainly use some more practice.

That was amazing for your first shot.
[ Her smile takes on a playful quality and she steps close to him, giving him a joking side-eye. ]
Are you sure you’ve never done this before?

I'd like to keep working on it with you, while I'm here. Maybe with a few more lessons I'll manage to hit more than the edge.

[ She smiles up at Uncle Charlie with a fond sort of gleam in her eye. Already she’s grown to like him quite a bit. It seems like he’s her family’s hidden gem. Allison reaches out to take her bow back and, quite by accident, her hand rests on top of his. Her cheeks flush a rosy shade of pink and she looks down. ]
I’m glad you like it. Archery, I mean.

[A strand of hair has fallen out of her braid, and Charlie reaches up to tuck it behind her ear] Here, let me -- [His touch lingers for half a moment too long before he takes his hand away again]
All fixed.

Thanks, Uncle Charlie.
[ She reaches for his hand and gives it a gentle squeeze. ]

I think we're going to get along well, Allison. I very much want us to be friends.

I’d like that, too.
[ She wants to… What, exactly? Hug him? There’s a part of her that craves closeness with him even though they’ve only just met. Holding hands is well and good, but she wants to be so close to him that she can feel his heartbeat. A hug would do that, wouldn't it? The uncertainty shows in her eyes. ]

He takes a step closer, til there's barely any distance between them. Normally he shies away from touch but because it's Allison, his Allison, it feels right.]

I want to show you something…
[ With her bow in one hand and Uncle Charlie’s fingers entangled in the other, she leads him down a path towards an area of the property that has a tree with a very thick trunk and fairly low sweeping branches. Ducking beneath one, she tugs him with her to the side of the tree. It’s like a fairy world underneath the branches, with the little light that passes through the gray clouds filtering through the green leaves. Allison stands very close to her Uncle. ]
I come here to get away sometimes.

Are we escaping, then?

Do you want to?

I feel such a bond with you, Allison. Like I've known you my whole life.

I feel it, too. I'm glad you're here, Uncle Charlie.
[ She trails a hand lightly up his arm. ]
