my type.
How to play:
- Post with your character.
- Describe their preferences for a romantic partner or just a person they wanna bang/smooch in a generalized way.
- This is shown to EVERYBODY.
- Reply to those comments indulging, teasing, mocking, being scandalized or so on.
- Or you can just go the lazy route, like certain songs.

Nyarlathotep | Lovecraft Mythos
Underneath this, in smaller, and more discreet handwritten print, are the words 'Also very curious and creative people'.]
Reko Yabusame | Your Turn to Die
[Reko herself sighs, unable to deny that but --]
Also soft inside and out.
Yeah I admit, like nice folks and all but wouldn't it be easier t' just word it like that?
Princess Serenity / Sailor Moon
Probably not the best type for a Princess but the sign is honest.

"Like it?" And without waiting for an answer: "Of course you do. I ordered the best leatherworkers of Fang to make it especially for you. Plus, you already wear a lot of white and white is the official colour of Fang, so as far as I'm concerned it's a sign..."
She brushed some of Serenity's hair away from her neck and made a point of walking slowly behind her. "That you belong to Fang."
Just as slowly, Namaari pulled the leather loop around Serenity's neck. She took her time enclosing it about her and fastening it, so Serenity would have plenty of time to realize that her freedom was being stripped away. "To me."

Watching as Namaari pulled the collar from behind her back Serenity stayed still. Continuing to meet Namaari’s gaze. Not wanting to admit that the idea of Namaari claiming her like this was one she liked.
The fingers at her neck made her shiver slightly. Then she felt the leather against her skin as Namaari took her time fastening it. Proclaiming Serenity as hers. “I’ve always admired strength,” she finally said quietly. “Will you forgive me for not fighting the strongest as they come to claim me? Or, at least tell me to fight you if that is what you wish for I know you admire strength as well.”

"It's true that I value strength. In warriors. In rivals. In equals." At that last word she suddenly seized Serenity's chin roughly to help remind her of her place. "In pets, I value beauty and obedience.
"Speaking of which," she released Serenity's chin and took a step back. "Do pets usually stand up on their hind legs in your kingdom? Because in Fang, good kittens remain on all fours. Are you a good kitten?"

Eskel || The Witcher(any) || OTA
He looks very pleased with this effort, but very close inspection reveals the original sign might have read something in the vein of:
Women likely to get me into trouble.
no subject
[ Though part of the worn wooden sign appears to have been etched out with a knife and some degree of rage, it barely reads are likely to die sooner rather than later ]
Yeah well, guess that's true enough.

Yeah! Exactly!
... For you, I mean, though what, intimidated by you, or by your mothers, or by the fact you're leading our generation, or—
( he's just sounding smug talking her up right now, this isn't helpful. )

Wei-qianbei and Hanguang Jun seem to intimidate people easily. I can't understand why.

( still sounding amused, but ah, yes, well, he's got biases. and they're for both said mothers. )

Hermione Granger | Harry Potter
[Cue Hermione, arms crossed tightly over her chest as she glares daggers at the sign.]
Just because the boys I've dated tend to be Quidditch players doesn't mean I have a type. Honestly, it's harder to find someone who doesn't play Quidditch!
The Phantom ~ Phantom of the Opera
[While he does not appear to be even a little amused, he does not at all disagree with this statement.]
no subject
That's a lot of notes.
[Their sign is simple enough: "Someone who appreciates what I am, and might not mind a knocked-down cup or two. And the odd dose of chaos I indulge in from time to time. Hopefully not allergic to cats or fear those of vampiric descent."]
...But there are worse types to like.
no subject
It is a sufficient description that addresses both my needs and my concerns.
[Or, he's just wholly hung-up on this one person and describes her exactly to extremely narrow his focus.]
no subject
Mm, just... it sounds like an unreachable ideal. You're bound to be disappointed with inflexible standards.
If you want someone guileless and trusting, that trust is likely to extend, succinctly to say, too far, if you apply specific exceptions that seem to be mild.
And, for example, it is possible to be faithful to a partner without giving them orders like that. A truly faithful partner will look at those beyond them, take what is useful and beneficial to the two of them, and come back with personal growth. With stories and more.
[They smile, warm and bright, their genderless voice pitching slightly upward in a more feminine sound.]
My late husband was like that. Open with trust, but burn him once and you could never have that trust back the same again. But he was far from guileless. You can't have innocence and freely-given trust and hope not to be destroyed by it.
Your angel in human form may very well find her wings burnt away purely because her innocence left her at the mercy of those crafty enough to hide beyond her experience to see the truth.
[Their gaze softens, concern making itself apparent.]
And if she comes to you, in her lowest moments from which there is no return to the past, reaching for your sunlight, will you toss her away simply because her wings are no more? Or perhaps, if she can no longer sing? Because in her core she is trusting, willing to believe in the best of everyone. And who would she trust more than the person she adores?
Not that I know of what you think of with that kind of description, but it's.. worrisome, darling.

Raine | dhampir/shifter original character
...Well, it's not wrong?
[They'll just adjust their clothes a little. Maybe it's a good time to nap...?]
Maria Hill | MCU | F/M (30+)
Well, it's not wrong...
Kunikda Doppo | Bungou Stray Dogs
Rude || FFVII (Remake) || M/F
[He stands beneath the sign, completely stone-faced.]
It's a guilty pleasure.
