He's come to almost dislike the window here, despite how constantly he looks to it. It's as close as he'll get to anything outside. By the time he's left alone today, the view is not enough.

The way out is still avoided, and instead Konoe chooses to sit in the chair near the windowsill. His cloak's been left abandoned for days, tossed aside among other articles, never picked up again until now. The hood is warm and familiar over the cat's ears, bringing out a smile.
