( of course, what makes getting lost in a corn maze even more frustrating is the scent of something warm and sweet hanging over the entire dang thing! it's a familiar and not cloying smell that makes his entire body feel cozy. the cool air isn't the only thing that brings him a chill when the shiver that travels up and down his spine comes from the desire to fill himself up with a nice treat!

bonus points if it's bread. plenty of apple-based bread desserts around...!

but in order to feast? he must make it out of the maze. it's why when he reaches a particularly long section of the maze, he dash dashes--- not hesitating even for a second. that is until he trips over one particularly evil broken piece of stalk and crashes through a somewhat thinner part of the corn walls... )
