1. Dance Party - Sober or wasted, dancing is good for the soul. It's a ho-down. Tonight's the night, amirite? DANCE!

2. Shots! Shots! Shots! Time to lose your mind at the bar or with a bottle of whatever. Just avoid the pool, stage, or any roofs.

3. Karaoke. Shot through the heart, and you're to blame! You give love... a bad... something...

4. Go Hardcore -- Are you finding your inner Ke$ha? Going hardcore? Doing something harder than shots? Brushing your teeth with a bottle of Jack (ouch)? Getting into a fist or slap fight? YOU'RE HARDCORE BITCH.

5. Hookups-- While all that booze may not have enhanced your charm, it certainly did wonders for your ego! Time to find all the hottest dudes and/or chicks in this place and make them swoon before your gin-powered charisma. Find somewhere dark or do it in front everyone but it's time to make sure you don't go home alone tonight.

6. Let's Play a Game - It's a party staple, right? Playing a game? From anything as innocent as charades to never have I ever to beer pong. Make sure you're the champion.

7. Closing Time - The party's over and it's time to find your way home. How you're going to do that is up to you? Or maybe you're that hopeful jackass that never wants the party to end?

8. DAMN THE MAN. Do whatever you want!

[Uhura is one of his more memorable meetings. After all, it isn't every day he incites a bar fight with a bunch of Starfleet cadets over wanting to know a girl's name. He's still kind of nonplussed by the fact that he didn't actually learn it himself (after three years of trying), but through Spock during an awkward moment in the transporter room.

Sliding a shot of something bright purple in front of her, he grins.]

Don't ask what it is 'cause I can't pronounce it without having my tongue fall out. You probably could though.

[It took some getting used to, the idea that her dream posting would include a Captain as fresh out of the Academy as she was. Uhura still had her reservations about Kirk, but for the most part, she'd grown accustomed to his particular kind of leadership.

She tipping the shot back and drank it quickly. Trusting that the local amenities were compatible with human digestion, Spock would have cautioned otherwise.]

I probably could, but I'm off the clock. [She paused as if expecting a raised eyebrow to that old colloquialism. Maybe she has been spending a little too much time around the crew's favorite Vulcan.]

...This was a good idea, for once.

[He knew about her reservations. She wasn't exactly quiet about them and, hell, he had his own reservations about being Captain. So far so good though. He hadn't royally screwed up and caused a war with either the Klingons or the Romulans anyway.

She wouldn't get a raised eyebrow, but rather an indignant, hurt look that was clearly for show.]

Hey! I'll have you know all my ideas are good ideas. It's just a matter of whether or not they pan out right.

[Still grinning, he tipped his own shot back, slamming the glass down with a 'whoop' when he finished.]

Shit, that's kind of strong. It's been a while since I've had anything but synthehol.

[Communications, that was more of a way of life than just a job description. Uhura didn't often see the point in hiding her opinions, but that went for the good and the bad.]

You're on a roll out here, I'll admit it. [So far their missions had turned out well. Not without their challenges and losses, but all of that was expected for such a major voyage.

As the next set of shots are lined up, Uhura brushes her hair back and nods in agreement.]

It will be another long while after this. We should make it count.
