master / fledgling In most vampire media, the relationship between maker and fledglings is many things: parental, sibling, an apprenticeship, even antagonistic. Just as often, there's a romantic undertone, as well. For what could connect anyone more than the sharing of blood, of the dark gift? Comment with your character, preferences, etc. Reply to others. Perhaps even to both of you, as well. † DYSFUNCTIONAL → There's a lot of bad blood between you, yet you can't hate each other fully. † FORBIDDEN → Any sort of relationship beyond the vampiric-familial would be frowned upon by both human society and the underworld. † LOVERS → Why not? No one else will understand you like they do, and you probably won't have to worry about outliving them.

It was finally over. Trevor covered his mouth with the back of his arm, so as not to inhale any dust and ash that danced in the air, as Sypha burned what was left of Dracula's corpse to a crisp. Tossing his weapon aside and taking a step back from the heat that rose from the blackened mass, scorching the floor.

All three of them were wounded, there was no doubt about that. Trevor's bones felt as though they had been rattled about inside his skin, bruised and aching, yet the adrenaline took hold, for now, forcing him to keep upright and moving.

A few hours had passed, Sypha was tending to the gashes that left her skin raw and pick, seeing the wounds to stop the bleeding. Trevor being, well, Trevor about it all, had managed to convince her he was alright, just a little shook up, nothing serious. Freeing himself of her keen eye as he wanded around the now derelict Castle, looking for a quiet place to lick his wounds.

Finding a room, somewhere on the fourth floor, the Belmont tore a slither of fabric from the hem of his tunic and used it to dab the sweat and blood from his brow. "Shit, that was a close call." He grumbled to himself, feeling the warmth of fresh running blood from his throat. Pulling the rag away from the painful injury so that he could inspect it with a finger. That's when he felt them. Two small round punctures.

His heart started to beath fast, the elevated pulse sending more blood to pump from the marks as he worked himself up into a panic. Thump-thump! Thump-thump! His heart beat fast, harder, like a jolt through him. Pain, searing hot pain right in the middle of his throat, the Belmont falling, crashing to his knees grimacing in agony. What was this?! What was going on?! When did it happen?! Thoughts rushed through his mind as he crumbled to the floor on his side, writhing as his blood boiled and burned his organs from inside out.

Alucard's mind is still reeling from the aftermath of the fight. Putting his father out of his misery took every ounce of power he had. Not to mention it unleashed a torrent of trapped emotional backlash. He's killed his own father, surely that seals his fate as a monster? Even if he did it to save all of mankind.

As much as he wants to crawl back into that crypt and drift back into a peaceful rest, there's still something worrying him. Something to focus on. He saw his father bite into Trevor's neck. Dracula could have drained him in an instant, but instead, he had tossed the hunter aside like a rag doll, claiming to have given one final 'gift' to his son. Yes, those were his father's words.

A pair of strong hands reach out to grab the body twisting on the cold stone floor, lifting him easily onto the bed. It's Alucard's pale, handsome, and yet incredibly concerned face that the hunter's blue eyes will see hovering over him from the edge of the bed.

This is exactly what he feared. Trevor is in the throes of transformation from human to undead. There's nothing he can do to spare him this fate, nor the agony that comes with it. However, his hand smooths across Trevor's brow, as if to wipe away some of the cold sweat gathering there.

"My father bit you with the full intention of turning you. I knew he was mad, but I didn't realize he would do such a foul thing."

( tl;dr Josephine here is, if you're not familiar with V:TM, basically part of the "inner circle" of the vampire ruler of Los Angeles. she usually wears the façade of a charismatic, but flighty and ultimately harmless socialite, but underneath she's both smarter and more knowledgeable of the political game than people who don't know her well would give her credit for.

she'll be the sire here, and because of a bad experience with her first childe, will unfortunately tend toward a bit of a controlling relationship -- very concerned with how her childe conducts themself in public so as not to risk her own reputation, setting boundaries around them to make sure they understand she's the one in charge, that sort of thing. as such things will probably naturally tend toward dysfunctional, but she also wouldn't sire someone she's not genuinely attracted to on some level, so they may be lovers or there's at least some kind of romantic or sexual tension involved. whether your character wants to impress her so they do whatever she says, or they're rebelling against her either secretly or not so secretly, or some hot mess combination of both -- I am here for it and let's do it. )
