How to play -

1. Comment with your character's name, fandom and preferences.
2. Others offer your character a penny for their thoughts to start the conversation off.
3. Your character tells them what they're thinking of, note that lying's allowed. You take it from there.
4. Be serious, be light-hearted, be cracky. Just have fun!

[It had been a rough day in Aeor, danger after danger, battle after battle. By the last they were out of any spells that couldn't be affected by the strange nature of Aeor itself. And then, just too much bad luck, too much blood. Caleb had been in danger, so.. Essek did the dangerous thing and found the thread of fate where Caleb would get hurt, where he would would take the blow or fail to dodge, and snapped it, pulling forward the future where he was safe.

He did this once.

Twice.

Three times.

Each snapped thread would whip out and strike against him with the force of their unused potential, sapping his body of its vitality and strength, exhausting it. The battle was coming to it's close and Caleb had enough to finish it, but he saw it, once more fate would attempt to take the fire wizard down.

Four times.

And then it was black.

Black until he woke to find them nestled close in the dome, bone deep exhausted and in pain. Caleb's breathing quiet but awake, his own the same. Seconds, minutes, maybe hours passed in huddled silence - only Caleb would know the actual amount of time that had passed. As silent as it was, Caleb's thoughts were blaringly loud and Essek knew well enough when someone wasn't going to speak until the one they were upset with did it first.]
