What if you were not alone in your thoughts? What if you were never alone? Surely it would change the way you think or behave, if you could simply reach out with your mind and truly know another person's true feelings. They say that so many of life's problems could be solved if we could simply understand one another without any lies or pretense to get in the way. What do you think?

No matter the cause - whether this is normal in your world, or through some magical or spiritual mishap - suddenly, you're about to find out what it's like to share a psychic connection.

( the sky is so bright, a beautiful, blinding blue. he lets it shine on him, soaking up the warmth and smiling from the way his fingers tingle. these kinds of dreams are always great. and he knows it's a dream cause it's actually november and been raining a lot lately. when he looks down too, he's in a great field, wide and filled with the softest looking grass he's ever seen. leaning over bucky kneels down, running his fingers through and feeling each blade. he laughs, flopping forward and rolling around gleefully.

he really wanted to play some ball today, but they couldn't on account of the rain. steve was sick again too, and even though he wanted to visit, it was pouring all day, and his ma didn't want him catching a cold. he stayed in like he was meant to, made up some game to pass the time with becca, but even as he rolled into bed and burrowed in the covers to fight away the cold, bucky could only think about how great it'd be if it was sunny out, and they didn't have to worry about cars. they could just play and have fun, and it'd be nice and warm so steve wouldn't get sick.

a ball and glove are suddenly in his hands, and he tosses the baseball up, catching it with the glove in a practiced motion. sucks that a dream is still a dream. he can't bring anyone else here. he can dream them to be here, if he really wants to. he knows. he's had lots of those dreams before too. but it always feels really lame like that, insincere.

at least he can still enjoy this for himself. and he does, laying in the grass, taking in the sun and playing catch with himself. it's the perfect distraction from how bored he'd been all day. )
