Comment with your character, preferences, preferred role, and any information you'd like to include.
Your character has either been injured/sick and had to be taken in (possibly against their will) or has been the one to help somebody like the former. Through the mending process, the two characters in a thread have fallen in love - or at least grown closer and more affectionate.
"If my dad hasn't heard about this yet, I don't want to tell him right now." Preferably not until Stiles has a better handle on what happened and can look him in the eye and say yeah, I'm totally fine.
"Yeah okay, sure." He's not about to go rat him out to his dad. But now he doesn't exactly know what to do. He felt out of place with the Titans as they watched over Raven, and now he's not sure what he's doing here either.
"Want me to get you out of here?" It's the only other thing he can offer, even if it's a stupid idea. Jason's full of stupid ideas.
It is a stupid idea, and even Stiles knows it. He was just unconscious like five minutes ago. He should be under some kind of medical observation, for his own good.
But literally just being here makes his skin crawl, and he can't bring himself to say no to such a generous offer, so: "Please."
Jason's never been good at staying put after getting seriously injured either, so he's not about to make a good decision on this.
Then again, it's all a part of the job. You get knocked down and then get up again. Fuck this hospital bullshit. Also fuck the rules, so when Stiles says yes, Jason goes to shut the machines off and goes to grab Stiles' shoes and jacket. Luckily they didn't undress him completely, so they don't have to worry about the awkwardness of that.
He also pulls Stiles' keys out of his own pocket. "Lucky for you I drove you over here in your Jeep... but I'm still driving."
It's not his first hospital break, exactly, but it's kind of his first personal one with him in the driver's seat of his own body. His own body, which still aches like crazy, so Jason shouldn't expect him to be moving too fast.
They won't move too fast. They'll just sneak quietly. It's definitely a bad idea, yeah. But Jason can get Stiles home in one piece.
"What, you worried I'll drive like a maniac?" He probably will. But a little less so this time than on their way here, which he knows Stiles has absolutely no recollection of. Probably for the best.
"Come on." He holds his arm out so Stiles can grab onto it if he needs to, to help him off the bed.
"If you wreck my car, I will never forgive you." Not that he really thinks Jason is in any danger of wrecking his car (or at least any more than Stiles would be right now driving it), or he absolutely would be fighting Jason on this.
As it is, he's accepting the arm to steady himself, so. No problems here.
"I've been boosting cars for years, I'm not gonna wreck it. Probably know how to drive it better than you do." Please, Stiles.
He gets it though. Some shit is worth fighting for. It's a good Jeep.
Jason helps him out of bed, then head for the door, peeking his head out to glance around and clock where all the nurses are. He then reaches over and pulls the hood up over Stiles' head for extra coverage.
"Just turn your head toward me, okay? Pretend we're together or something. Just don't do any of that girly laughing shit. Keep your mouth shut." If Stiles can do that, Jason will tug him out of the room to walk down the hall towards the nearest exit.
"I don't have a girly laugh." It's not too difficult to pretend they're together or whatever if pretending their together means staying close to Jason and letting him take some of Stiles's weight while he convinces his body to start moving again. No one gives them a second look yet, at least, since it's not exactly uncommon for people to be walking around the hospital all slow like they've been hit by a truck recently, and he clearly has someone looking after him.
"I said shut up?" Jason doesn't know what kind of laugh Stiles has. They've never really spent that kind of time together.
Jason holds him close this time though, keeping his arm curled right around the other boy's, making their way out slow and steady. Once they're outside, Jason finally feels like he can breathe again. He really hates hospitals too.
No. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." He wants to sit down very badly, actually, but at least they've made it out of the hospital without anyone noticing them. Not that he hasn't just created a Situation that he'll have to deal with later, but that's just it: he'll deal with it later.
He'll get to sit down very soon, as Jason is walking them to the parking area next to the hospital, right over to where he parked Stiles' Jeep last night.
"You'll feel better once you're in your own bed. Or... where we going? Is that where we're going?" Dick is gonna kill him. But that's already a given.
He rests Stiles against the car as he opens the passengers side to help him get in. He's sure Stiles will stop looking so pale once they're inside.
"If no one got ahold of my dad then he's probably still at work, so - yeah. My house sounds good." Likely to cause the least blow-up when his dad finds out he was in the hospital and skipped out, and also, he really does want to just go to his own bed and lie down.
For now, he'll take resting in his Jeep. Better than a hospital room.
"Your house it is, then. Address?" He starts the Jeep up, then haphazardly pulls out of the driveway with a little smirk, because he's just doing it to be an asshole.
"How long does it usually take to get there? Bet I can beat that time." Maybe he's kidding, maybe not. He does slow down a little when he hits the open road though.
"Dude. Seriously?" Stiles is Not In the Mood for that kind of fucking around right now, as evidence by the Look(TM) he gives Jason before giving his address. He feels like garbage, take pity on him please.
Wow, okay. That's some look. And usually Jason would do the absolute obvious, but... he does take pity on Stiles just a little bit, and stops driving like a maniac. "Yeah, yeah. Don't puke."
Yeah, Jason doesn't want to deal with that shit either, and goes the slow road. It was his idea to bust Stiles out anyway, so he probably shouldn't kill him on the way back.
Meanwhile, Jason's phone is buzzing off the hook, and he's just about ready to throw it out the window. He knows it's probably Dick being annoying anyway. Either that, or something happened to Rachel. Either way, he doesn't want to deal with it at the moment, and he can't exactly ask Stiles to check his messages.
"So. I guess the shit we tried to do didn't work out, huh. Unless Rachel freaked the fuck out of the tree."
"Pretty sure she did freak the fuck out of a tree, but it didn't help." Seeing as how said tree is still intact and powerful, as far as he knows, and Stiles feels terrible. "I don't know what kind of magic she has, but I don't think they mix too great."
"She's got her own witchy kinda thing, but... who knows, maybe she's out of it cause she's communicating with it right now." Maybe. Maybe that's why they're texting, cause they've got something.
"So you never did tell me exactly how you're connected to it either." Stiles was very vague, he remembers that part.
"Yeah, it's hard to explain." He goes quiet for a moment, maybe thinking about how to explain it. "I didn't even know I was that connected to it still," which is kind of terrifying and not something he wants to think too much about right now, "but I sacrificed myself to it in a... ritual. That killed me. Temporarily."
Right. Jason supposes that's an important thing. If he'd ever have to save Bruce's life in any way like that, he wonders if he'd do it. Not that Bruce is his dad or anything, but... that's just how things are right now.

It was not, exactly, a safe plan.
