Map generator error: Exploration meme

Let's face it: We all have the urge to do a little exploration every now and then, right? Of course, in real life, we often don't have the option of going anywhere really interesting. Thank God for RP, right?
Okay, so standard set of rules:
1. Post your character/canon. Feel free to pre-set up your scenario if you want, or let someone else RNG it for you.
2. Respond to other posts. Roll two RNG rolls, one for the setting, one for the scenario. (Or don't, that's fine too.)
3. Get exploring! Who knows where you'll end up?
4. Oh, right, have fun. That's kind of an important one.
SETTINGS:
1. Abandoned Mansion: You know, the one at the edge of town, the one with all the creepy rumors? Yeah, there's no way THIS one can go wrong.
2. Factory: Nothing like a little urban exploration to get that blood pumping.
3. School: Seven mysteries of the school, sealed off portion of the building, piano heard playing in the middle of the night, yada yada yada. You know how that works.
4. A Forest: ...or are you just LOST? Go on, admit it. We won't tell anybody.
5. Military Base: We only hope it's an ABANDONED base, or else you have some 'splainin' to do.
6. A Cave: Let's go spelunking! Maybe there'll be a minecart scene.
7. An Ancient Ruin: With ancient secrets, and ancient traps, and ancient animal droppings. Ew.
8. A Dungeon: Not the whips and chains kind. Your standard RPG generi-dungeon. ...okay, we suppose whips and chains can feature if you WANT.
9. Office Building: Hopefully not the kind with those sentient elevators or something. And with fire escapes.
10. Shipwreck: Hope you brought your scuba-diving equipment! If you're in the first three slots of the party lineup, you WILL get wet.
11. Labyrinth: Follow the left wall. No, seriously. It works.
12. Wild Card: Pick one of the above, or make up your own not listed here.
SCENARIO:
1. Rumors: You hear there's a monster or a ghost of some sort hanging around there. But that can't be true, right?
2. You've Been Invited: Either from someone you know or a mysterious stranger, someone has invited you to this strange location. But what could they want?
3. Car Broke Down: Maybe somebody lives over there, honey! ...hahahaha.
4. Hunter/Hunted: Something's been following you. Maybe you can lose them in this place somewhere. Or maybe the danger's actually just gotten worse.
5. It's a Secret to Everybody: You figure you can make a hangout here. Or maybe you and a special someone want somewhere exciting and private to do your thang. Who knows.
6. Where am I?: You just woke up here. You don't remember how you got here. And you have no idea how to get out. Guess you'd better find out.
7. A Prank: Those jerks thought it'd be real funny if they locked you in this place, or ditched you, or whatever. Let's see how much they'll be laughing when you're DEAD. ...or let's not, shall we?
8. Drawn to this Place: You're not sure why, but you're suddenly finding yourself attracted to this place. Something here is calling to you...
9. Treasure!: You hear there's a fantastic treasure somewhere in this place! If you find it, you'll be rich! ...IF.
10. Surveying: You need to check this place out for whatever reason. Research? Surveying? Mapping? Who knows, but it's a perfectly legitimate reason.
11. Someone to Find: Someone you know is supposed to have come here, but they haven't come back yet. Surely they're still alive somewhere in here, but there's only one way to find out.
12. Adventure Time: Who needs a reason when you got an adventure? #yolo

Kotomi Ichinose | Clannad
It had begun as an expedition from the american university she had enrolled into. To Kotomi, it had been previously advertised as an archaeological expedition in order to learn more about the civilizations that had existed here. They had all expected to find a few fragments, remnants of torn-down house walls, and some preserves, but after falling through a ravine, she found herself lost, once again, left with the hope of finding civilization.
She immediately stopped upon emerging from the dense jungle, and stared at civilization, indeed. Stone ruins that encompassed a whole city, forgotten for ages, and upon realizing there were no people down there... Kotomi wondered if she was the first person in many, many years to find this.
Pyramids rising by numerous levels of carved rock, honoring mesoamerican gods, with stairs that reached the heaven. In front of it, there were the remnants of an urban jungle of its own with its own distinct pyramids and temples that had laid abandoned to the flora and nesting animals for thousands of years.
Kotomi's eyes widened. Only after a while, did she gather the courage to step forward.
"From the summit of these pyramids, forty centuries look down upon you," Kotomi said.

If that were the case, then it would explain the forest's strange growth blocking it off. She had to know more and she's certain so did Evie.
"We should be getting close to the growths, Evie, so be careful."

She nodded at Ruby's warning. Her friend was way more knowledgeable about forests. Evie kept a hand on the hilt of her visible dagger. She had a couple more tucked away in her outfit, just in case. "I'm following your lead on this one."
The forest seemed to fall away all at once. Well, maybe not fall away so much as be replaced with a thick tangle of vines and briars that strangled the trees in their path. Her eyes widened, and she switched her grip from her dagger to her sword. "How could they grow so close together and not choke each other out for resources?"

“I don’t know.” Ruby replied. “It must be the magic… if it exists. If that’s the case, it might be stronger than we thought…!”
She inches closer to the vines, intending on starting to cut them loose so they could continue.

Hm. Let's start at Evie's Castle. I have an Idea.
Carlos is so happy for them. The wedding, as many problems as it had, was beautiful, and now, it's on to happily ever after, right?
Unfortunately, like any fairytale, there are bumps in the road. When Carlos got to his first class, he was surprised to find that there wasn't anyone there. Going from room to room, he couldn't find anyone.
And then he looked down. Mice were everywhere. Mice in dresses and hats and suits and ties, and one extra-grumpy mouse in a blue suit chittering at a mouse in a pink dress. What in the entire world. Outside, he saw pumpkins on the lawn, and the occasional super confused horse or dog around the castle.
The only answer to this, he realized, was that something was super wrong with Fairy Godmother's magic. It's the opposite of Cinderella with some extra mice thrown in there. Without another thought, he runs off towards Evie's castle. He has no idea why he's not affected, but he's certainly hoping she's not and they can figure things out together.]

She's closed her shop for the next few days, so no clients will be coming in and asking for fittings or updates. The shop's email has an auto-response away message set, and business calls go straight to voicemail. After the work she put in on Mal's dress - and the rest of the wedding party - she's finally following everyone's advice and taking a break.
The morning has been downright leisurely. She's still sipping her coffee in her nightgown and robe when she hears a key in the latch on her front door. Of the three people who have a key, one is on her honeymoon, one is on a field trip back to the Isle, ironically enough, and the other should be in morning classes.
She stands abruptly as Carlos all but bursts through the front door, breathing heavily. Her coffee sits forgotten for the moment as she hurries across the living room.]
Carlos? What's going on? What's... aren't you supposed to be in class right now? What's wrong?
no subject
I could be in class... but no one else is! Everyone's been turned into mice. I have no idea why I wasn't affected, but there's pumpkins everywhere.
It... well, it feels like Cinderella's story gone wrong. I'm worried about Fairy Godmother. And... I have a feeling we're the only ones who aren't affected.
