Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... [The idea to come to the bathhouse was an excellent one, even if they had to pay a little bit extra because they were all so filthy. The girls have taken one to themselves, and Fjord has one on his own. Molly shares a room with Fjord, he sees him alone all the time, but he doesn't get to see Caleb. And he really wants to see Caleb.

He slips in next to the wizard, even though there's space enough for them to sit opposite each other. His tail drapes over Caleb's lap, and Molly sinks in down to his chin.]

[What does one get when they put two very stubborn individuals together in a single room with a single shared bathroom? Obviously two men begrudgingly sharing a single tub because neither of the two would relent to let the other bathe first.

Thankfully Vanitas has the decency to keep to his own side of the tub, and casts his gaze away from Noé as if the vampire weren't even there. He's alarmingly good at it too--tuning people out. Vanitas has a good amount of scars on his body, each a story he's unwilling to tell, but he's at least not shy about being naked with company. He can't speak for Noé, and doesn't even bother to glance at him to see if he's able to get comfortable or not. Not his business.]

i failed at that one thread cuz my head so here's this

( he'd picked the lock to get into the apartment. that's probably not exactly a good thing but bucky also doesn't really give a shit. he'd wanted in and thus, he was going to get in.

when he does, he can tell she's here but the apartment's dark. he steps lightly, moving through the rooms until he spots a splash of light coming from underneath the bathroom door.

he doesn't smile but his shoulders sink a little, finding himself relaxing somewhat to know that she was there and he hadn't just broken into her house without reason.

he puts a hand on the knob of the door and opens it, spotting her sprawled in her tub, possibly asleep. bucky doesn't say something, choosing instead to lean against the doorframe and watch her until she realizes that he's there. )

( but he is not surprised to find her here, in a bath, tucked away from everyone else to allow herself the privacy and the quiet. she deserves that and he would do anything to give her that but sometimes, he's clingy and he wants to be around her. he doesn't think she'll mind.

the room is mostly dark save for a few candles that she's lit and pietro looks around, nodding his head in approval before he crosses the room and kneels down beside the tub, resting his chin on the lip. there are bubbles of all sorts on the surface which is terrible because it means he cannot see what's underneath. )
