A little. My favored handgun is a customized Beretta M92F so I don't veer too far from it.

If I took you out for some shooting, you wouldn't happen to have one, would you?

Ease on the catch. Bit lighter. Made to be an all-around quicker piece, although it suffers from mediocre ammunition storage and packs less of a punch thanks to the modifications.
Worth making the firing rate and making it a bit more well-rounded if you ask me.

The rest is cosmetic.

I know how weapons can be personal. Won't ask to use it, but I'd like to get a look at it and see how it fires.

Fair enough. If you're making each bullet count, the smaller magazine shouldn't make much of a difference.

If you want to try it out for yourself, I don't mind.

[ He's not too precious about that kind of thing, and he knows that Jill will handle the SOCOM with care. A box, on the other hand, he'd be less likely to lend to someone. Too fragile. ]

I don't know. I think rocket launchers might win out for top spot for me!
Although they're mostly impractical, I really do enjoy using them when I get to.

[ The Samurai Edge will always win out the top spot, but a few others manage a close shave. ]

Yeah? Generally it's BOWs -- monsters, you know -- for me, but anything like that is pretty exciting and reminds me why I love my job, ha ha. :)

Most people I know don't sleep as much as they should.
At least the people who are in similar fields.
Collective insomnia, I guess.

Yeah, it does seem to be a common thread. My partner gets even less sleep than I do, and I didn't think that was possible.

Guessing you have a caffeine habit too?

I'm the one of the two (well I have two partners, so of the three) that gets the least sleep.
Caffeine occasionally, but mostly running thoughts.
And calls at all hours.

Just about every time I get to sleep, I'm being sent somewhere on a moment's notice. :(

Right now? I'm on forced sabbatical from an injury.

So I'll likely not be called in unless it's something dire.

Which is likely enough, but I'd like to think I'll get at least twenty-four hours in before I'm called.
I'm highest clearance SOA and a founding member, so the tend to look to me for guidance or when they need a representative.
Tedious, but worth it.
