That's always good advice. In a place like Midgar, you learn to watch what you eat.

Maybe shut the door and shove a towel against the crack at the bottom if the smell's still coming through.

I'm glad it's at least good enough for now. I wouldn't want you and the others up all night because of a bad smell...

[ It does mean they'll have to tackle this problem in the morning, but at least Tifa's braced for it now. She knows that whether she likes it or not, she'll end up roped into dealing with it. It's fine, she's already come to terms with that. ]

Usually it was an accident! Wedge would try to help me clean up and forget to clean off plates before putting them in the sink. With how busy it got sometimes, they'd pile up fast so...

I was worried for a sec that you were gonna tell me a customer did that and I was like what kind of customer goes behind the bar!? I thought that wasn't allowed... but I bet you've seen some pretty awful people come in.

He was trying to help! It's just that not everyone is cut out for taking care of a bar...

And oh, customers would sometimes try to come behind the bar, to pick a fight or just because they were being creeps. It usually didn't take long for them to realize that they shouldn't mess with me, though. :)

so were there a lot of fights you had to break up?

[ While Tifa doesn't give a direct confirmation, there were definitely some punches and roundhouse kicks involved if people were persistent enough. ]

Not too many, thankfully. They happened from time to time, but Seventh Heaven was supposed to be a place where someone could come and rest after a long day of work, have a good meal, and vent about whatever was going on in their lives.

Most of the regulars there wouldn't put up with someone who just wanted to pick fights, so that kind of thing would get stamped out pretty quick! Barret and Biggs were good about enforcing it, too.

too many of the grown-ups would get into fights in the bars all the time. they were loud and smelly, and they did all kinds of stupid things when they drank. I think I would've liked seventh heaven way better.

[Is she implying that she had been in those bars as a kid? ... Maybe.]

[ Tifa's curious to see Wutai with her own eyes one of these days, though she's not sure if their travels will ever take them there. It's Yuffie's home, but it's also a bit backwater now, isn't it... ]

Honestly, Seventh Heaven could be like that too. I think every bar has a bit of silly arguing and people doing not-so-smart things.

[ She actually doesn't blink at the thought of Yuffie in a bar as a kid. Look at Marlene. ]
