how?

01 induction. a comfortable place, a confident touch, and all the right words to take you under. deep breath in, deep breath out, just lie back for the plain flavor, no gimmicks or special powers involved.
02 the prop box. that's not enough? then how about a spinning spiral, or a swinging pocket watch, a coin or a candle, a flickering candle, that's right, just look at the flame, watch the flame closely, watch it dance in front of your eyes and relax, just relax...
03 simply powerful. deep and hypnotic eyes, a strong and commanding voice, their comforting and soothing touch; that person has more than talent - they have the power to bring you completely under their control, and there is no way to resist... at least not forever.

why?

01 therapy something you want to remember? something you'd like to forget? quit smoking, eat healthier, be the best you you can be. whatever your reason, whatever your method, your subconsciousness needs a spring cleaning to improve your life.
02 in good fun you're really looking forward to this! it's a show, it's a party, or maybe it's just the two of you trying something new. entertaining, relaxing, maybe even hot and steamy. kick back, and enjoy the experience.
03 part of the job the latest corporate drug, another monster preying on people's minds, the third alien artifact you dug up this week. you've run into this before, and you will run into it again. but maybe this time is different. maybe this time something went wrong...
04 part of a scheme you don't want this, but somebody else begs to differ. maybe it's as harmless as a prank to make you cluck like a chicken whenever they say your name. or maybe it's as bad as a plot to make you their obedient servant forever. only they know, but for better or worse, you're about to find out.

what?

01 relaxation. all you want is to unwind, switch off, forget about your stress and worries for a while. close your eyes, you'll wake up feeling so refreshed. that is, unless somebody goes a little overboard with that happy and vacant smile...
02 transformation. bark like a dog. moo like a cow. put on this apron, you are the maid now. you're a robot, you're just a doll, you are the president of the world, an adorable baby, the perfect boyfriend- you are something or somebody you weren't before.
03 personality change. people don't change? we'll see about that! there must be some way to make you more assertive, less anxious, more honest, less unruly. maybe something could even change your evil ways! or your good ones, for that matter...
04 submission. this one is all about following commands. any commands. any commands. but do they just want to see you dance to their tune once, or will they wash, scrub and bleach your brain until it comes out blank and obedient forever?
05 seduction. maybe it's something sneaky to charm somebody you just met, maybe it's something sexy to spice up your relationship. whatever it is, whatever you do, it's trance time in the bedroom. and it would feel so amazing to take off your clothes for me, wouldn't it?

[OOC: Okay! I definitely have some ideas for a starter with that! Maybe the monster tries to kidnap and hypnotize Hope, but ChibiMoon steps in and gets it instead just as she destroys the monster?

Anything you want or don't want Hope to do to her while he has her under control?]

Hope can do whatever he wishes to Chibi outside of nasty things. Mess with her costume, hair, whatever! Did you have ideas?)

((OOC: Hmmmm... well I'm thinking Hope can jokingly ask for a kiss once she's saved him then once he realizes he can ask her to do whatever... he's not gonna be too mean since she did save him and he is a good boy, but maybe he'll have her let him carry her back home, put her hair down and maybe be a little more daring than usual with touching her (with an underlying command for her to tell him to stop if she's uncomfortable). Maybe even some spanking.

"Oof!" Hope gasped as he feel to the ground, the lamia's coils releasing him as she dissolved into light from ChibiMoon's attack. The snake woman had wrapped Hope up and was staring deep into his eyes in an attempt to hypnotize him so he could be her trojan horse against ChibiMoon. However, just as she had begun to do so, ChibiMoon herself showed up and stepped between them. Everything was kind of a blur after that, but the next thing Hope knew, his assailant had been vanquished and he was on the floor.

As he picked himself up he looked and saw his beautiful girlfriend standing victorious. "You... you saved me!"

"Haa... o-of course I did, silly!" ChibiMoon said, looking back at Hope. She was becoming more and more stronger and her saving Hope from the lamia proved that. She felt a little uneasy, though. Though she put herself between the two of them, something about how the lamia looked at her seemed off.

Hope did notice the slight hesitation, but he chalked it up to post-battle adrenaline for now. Right now, it was time to tease his girlfriend a little bit.

"Well?" he asked. "Doesn't the hero usually kiss the damsel in distress at this point?"

ChibiMoon giggled a bit, but something inside her caused her to shiver before she moved to turn and join Hope and kiss him.

[ Can write him in either role. As hypnotist, he'd either be using it to help someone he knows or as part of a potential heist. Maybe get the combination to a safe or something. The latter is the worst he'd do though.

As the person being hypnotized, I'm down for anything but transformation or personality changes. Want to turn the tables on a master thief? Have at him.

In terms of prompts--I'm thinking that maybe it's a punishment game for the other party and neither of them expect it to work but then it does. Alternatively, maybe she wants to be hypnotized into showing more of her girly side.

(ooc: In the past she used such tricks to make people think she was a family member or to get what she wanted from people. That's still an option, as are somewhat, shall we say, nefarious possibilities, especially if she's leaning evil at the time. Hypnotizing her is possible but we'll need to talk about it because she will be very, very angry once it's over.)

[ If you're interested, I've got Sona here. From League of Legends, but specifically this journal is for her in the music-verse, where she's worked both as an independent DJ and part of the metal band Pentakill. ]

[ Maybe Usa wants to use Sona for fame or money, and decides to have some fun alongside that goal? As for the hypnosis method, I'm up for anything. ]

(ooc: Maybe she wants to use Sona's fame for nefarious purposes. Something like projecting a signal or hypnotizing anyone watching a performance. Anyway, she could pose as a fan, or really be one, and hypnotize the guards to let her through. As for fun, were you thinking smut?)

[ I was, yeah, assuming that interests you. And certainly trying to use Sona's platform-and maybe her talents, while under Usa's control-to control many more people makes sense. ]

(ooc: If Usa is really a fan she might be tempted to take advantage of the situation. Do you have a kink list or anything that currently interests you? I often play Usa as futa if that's okay.)

[ No list handy. Futa is a-okay, and some kinks I'd particularly enjoy would be creampies/risk of impreg, public sex, and maybe clothed sex? Her 'default' outfits for this skin line are either a tight black dress or a skintight plug-suit-esque getup, but I'd also be interested in some more casual clothing like a sundress or jeans and a t-shirt if any of that strikes you. ]

(ooc: Something she'd wear on stage would probably work out best, whether it's one of the proper skin or something else flashy. Creampie+risk is fine with me. Public might come into play after their initial go if they both go up to the stage to prepare for the next show and get carried away before the curtains go up.)

I figure it would be something like a concert venue or a hotel after a show and Usa gets past security, meets her idol, then hypnotizes her idol to set up her plan, gets a little touchy-feely and then completely carried away. The hypnosis might weaken a little now and then allowing Sona to protest somewhat.)

[ Sona is mute, so she'll need to protest-and confirm anything Usa asks of her while under-either with body language or written/typed out. Probably makes things somewhat simpler for Usa in the long-term, to be honest.

And hotel after a show sounds best to me. Maybe Usa even got in to the room before Sona arrives? Convinces her guards (either with hypnosis or simply manages to pull one over) that she's supposed to be there after the concert. ]

(ooc: Yeah, I figured there would be a lot of gesturing and body language. Possibly a notepad. Hotels always have those. I like the idea of Usa sneaking in beforehand. She could have hypnotized a security guard at the concert and got the hotel information and pulled the same trick to get into the room. Probably went through some of Sona's stuff before she got there.

[ All of that sounds perfect. With that in mind, would you like to start things off, or should I? ]

Performances always left Sona energized, but Pentakill concerts in particular had a way of amping her up. Tonight was no exception, but while the boys and Kayle were out partying, the keyboardist had a solo gig tomorrow. Which led, naturally, to her heading back to her hotel room less than an hour after the end of the concert. Sona had taken the time to have one drink with the band, but while the rest stayed out getting hammered she'd done the responsible thing and gotten one of the crew to drive her to her hotel.

It was a nice hotel, at least-between the Pentakill concert and her club appearances the next two nights, Sona had decided to spare no expense. No amount of money would pay for the kind of security she'd have needed tonight, though, and Usa had wormed her way into Sona's room in advance; not that the DJ herself was aware of it. The star slipped into her room with impressive grace considering the three-hour set they'd just played, a tight black dress hugging her curves as she made a bee-line for the bathroom.

Usa had first seen Sona on a television screen while passing by an electornics store. Something about her caught her attention, and from there on, she slowly became a fan. At first it was just watching videos, reading the latest music headlines, and following social media. Tickets and merchandise came later, as did a whole lot of late, lonely nights where she became hyper-fixated on the pop star. During one of those nights, she'd come up with a plan, one that played right into the darkness that had recently surrounded her.

It was simple enough to obtain the information she wanted from the security guards at the concert. She was always good at getting what she wanted. Getting into the hotel was a unique challenge, one which she rose to without breaking a sweat. A little twist of her umbrella, that was all it usually took. Making that smaller for indoor use was much easier to manage. Once inside the room, she first peeked through Sona's things, perusing costumes, props, jewelry, but taking nothing. She even thought of trying on a costume but before she could, she heard the door open. Usa sat in the dark on the edge of the bed, waiting until her idol came into view. Her crimson eyes caught the dim light from the hall as she sat and watched.

"Good evening. Back so soon?"

The sudden sound of a stranger's voice caught Sona off-guard, and she jumped slightly-but rather than following her first instinct (to turn and run, which might have saved her,) she glared at Usa and produced a cellphone from her purse.

Typing furiously, a text-to-speech app gave the strange woman some warning of what was coming. 'You have ten seconds to get your ass out of my room before I call the cops.' By the time the speech had finished, Sona had input the number, her thumb hovering over a green 'call' button. Whatever Usa did next would have to be fast-but she was given at least enough time to leave, which should be plenty enough time to get into all manner of other trouble instead.

Usa did expect that Sona might turn and run, but she had taken care of that possibility. Now that they were alone, she didn't want anyone disturbing them, so she'd made sure the door was well and truly locked, and wouldn't easily reopen from the inside until she wanted it to open. Now she watched and waited as some frantic typing happened. So the stories were true.

"Well, since you put it so politely," she said, standing up. "Mustn't forget my umbrella. It might rain." Usa lifted the umbrella up, swung it around, and opened it facing Sona. The red and white swirling pattern would rotate as Usa turned the handle, the effect meant to temporarily stun her and make her receptive to suggestion. Thus far it had worked on the guards and hotel staff perfectly. "I have a better idea. Why don't you put that down and turn it off. We don't want to be disturbed while we spend some quality time together. You wouldn't want to disappoint your biggest fan, would you?"

After following Usa's first instruction, Sona was only able to nod. The stranger was quite right-disappointing any fan was bad enough, let alone her biggest one, who had gone to all of this trouble to sneak into her room to meet her.

Without further explicit commands just yet, this first order was burned into her mind, and she reacted accordingly. Phone now on the bed and disabled, Sona reached for the bedside, but rather than touch the landline she opened the drawer and began fishing around in it. Tossing the first couple of items she encountered onto the bed, she eventually pulled out a notepad and pen, before quickly writing- 'Autograph?'

Now that she didn't have to worry about being interrupted, the glee began to set in. Usa grinned as she watcher her idol move about, the two of them all alone, presumably until morning. She'd checked the schedules and knew there wasn't another show until the next day, so that meant no one had a reason to bother her until morning when it was time for breakfast. She'd worry about that later, if she was still there.

Usa tilted her head, not sure what Sona was doing next. The phone was no longer in play so what was she getting at? Looking for something, apparently. She moved closer to keep an eye on what was happening, and when she saw the word autograph her grin broke out into a full on smile. "Well, naturally I'd love to have one. I don't suppose you have any of those pictures you sell in your room, do you?"

I propose Konoka stumbling upon Caramia's dreamscape and finding that library could be useful for either honing in on her onmyoji powers (not elaborated much in her canon) and/or just stumbling upon romance books. She just has to pay up somehow, whether it's giving Caramia some of her (huge) mana, accomplishing something for her in the real world or just letting Caramia control her somehow.
