Calling all magical girls (and boys, and more!) and magical villains - and anyone else who would like to AU into the fun! It's time to grab your transformation charms and fight some evildoers by moonlight! And, just maybe... find love by daylight?

1. new powers
You've just discovered you're a long lost space princess, or the distant descendent of a powerful miko, or whatever your backstory is - but you don't know anything about this strange new world at all! What are you going to do now?!

2. sidekick
Every magical girl needs a cute sidekick! (What do you mean, you don't want to be the mascot?)

3. monster of the week
Oh, no! Monsters are attacking the village/school/shopping center/your friends, etc!

4. in distress
You're in a pinch. You're losing the battle, or maybe you've already been captured. Who will save you now?

5. love interest
What would your crush think if they knew your secret identity?? Maybe... they have one of their own.

6. team-up
You don't usually work with others outside of yourself/your team, but dire circumstances require a team-up with someone you're not used to... maybe even someone you considered an enemy.

7. shopping montage
Magical girls need to have fun, too! Can't you just enjoy one day of lazing about without baddies ruining everything?

8. punchcard villain
You don't actually have an firm investment in bringing about the end of the world, but you're getting paid to fight the hero, so here you are.

9. monologuing
You're the villain, and those meddlers don't stand a chance against your might. They're falling right into your trap! Mwahaha...

Konoka Konoe | Mahou Sensei Negima | OTA

[[I put far too many details here, but better too many than too few.

Konoka Konoe is the laid back girl that's probably mistaken for the clueless best friend, if she isn't already. But in reality she's been involved in magical girl mayhem since childhood, as her family line has been noted to carry absurd amounts of mana. Konoka was originally oblivious of this power until bad guys close to her family abducted her to use her powers, but fortunately they didn't manage to get far before friends saved her.

Now, Shining Magi Regina Medicians (Regina for short) is the trusting but determined heroine with impressive healing and summoning powers. Her default outfit is her onmyouji flavored robes, though she can very easily switch outfits thanks to the power of her transforming card (and I heartily encourage outfit mayhem, sensible or not). Konoka prefers some flavor of diplomacy when dealing with things that aren't monster of the week (and even some that are, if they're naturally occurring and not the 'born of negative emotions/energy' kind). Konoka felt a bit coddled in the past and often wants to forge her own path, but also prefers working with others than going solo. Since she's used to having to investigate troublemakers instead of waiting for them to cause issues, she may very well snoop into shady (or even not-so-shady) activities and get a bit more than she bargained for.]]

An alien ship the size of a full city loomed over the skies, blotting it out by its own, and by the cloud of dropships and fighter ships. On the ground, there would be no discrimination between soldier and innocent.

All were human. To them, all was deserving of extermination.

One human world after another fell to the rain of plasma. Alien warriors would scour through the streets, wield strange weapons, and slaughter anything that would insult their faith. For many worlds, it became a common horror, for which there was little stopping them.

When a Pelican flies past, and even the alien beings glance up, it is when it all changes in one sudden moment.

Slender figures descend from the heavens. One of them, a long-haired woman wearing a white leotard and green sleeves and boots, falls heel-first over the face of one of the gigantic beings, slamming him against the concrete. Her brown hair and green skirt wave to her rapid movements, difficult to track to all but the most veteran of warriors.

These are not human soldiers in armor. These were Athenians. Women whose powers manifested at early ages, who would become the ultimate warriors, and defenders of mankind.

What follows should not be possible, knightly swords made out of blue light that spread around her, and fight against charging monsters with plasma blades that try to parry. They last until either another one of these angels cut them down, or when the leading figure kicks, slams, and then cuts them down.

Once a position is secured, Sailor Reach ventures forward, slides downward to bring up an MA5 Rifle from one of the soldiers, and fired forward.

"Move forward," Sailor Reach slowly stood back up, "mark a path to infiltrate the Carrier."

Wilfried is totally the pompous demon bad guy who has a massive cape fetish. Whenever he's not being a bad guy, he's pretty kind and fair-handed to his opponents and a bit tsundere. But totally passionate about reviving demonkind to their former glory and all that.

If you need a writing hook... Perhaps your character knows that Wilfried will one day become a Demon Lord who's capable of lots of destruction in the future and you want to stop him now. Or he could become one of the generals of the Big Bad doing whatever he likes.]

[[ OoC: Hello! If an OC is all right, maybe he'd have fun gloating over the all-too-serious heroine on a regular basis as a general for whatever big bad he's working under? Especially since this girl can get (semi-predictably) riled up before cooling off enough to actually finish what she needs to do in order to save the day. Possibly a sort of back and forth that may wind up getting the big bad impatient with the dragged out back and forth.

I'd be up for a first meeting where she's still new to her powers and not likely to do great right away, or if they've both done this dance before with starting to get into the question of "why" over a whole bunch of it. Or the situation becomes surprisingly dire with In Distress and things not going in a way Wilfried is okay with. Whatever that may seem like a good starting point. ]]

[[ OoC: Anyone want a dashing man with an eye-patch to help save the distressed hero/heroine? How about an enemy general who's convinced he's on the right side of whatever conflict this is, and while he's a "bad guy" he'll be playful, tease, and honourable enough to avoid pointless suffering? Or maybe a visiting hero who is accidentally moving in on the magial girl's (or guy's) turf when he sees someone in trouble? The only thing I'm really not up for here is Punchcard Villain -- if he's on the bad guy's side, he's loyal to his boss.

But yeah, Masamune is basically all of the above. He has no qualms about killing people if he knows he needs to in order to get the job done, so if he's working for the wrong guy he can be dangerous as a villain. And he sees absolutely nothing wrong with flirting with the enemy, so that's fun. Also possibly applicable as a Tuxedo Knight-type ally if we want to go that route. Let's have fun with this! ]]

God that was a long lecture. Rose stretched her arms over her head as she exited the building where her history class took place. At least that was her last class for the day. All she had to do now was go home and start work on a paper.

Or at least was her plan. The loud crash and the sound of people screaming and running just off campus, changed all of that. Rose cursed under her breath and started running in the direction where the sounds of destruction were coming from. Why did something like this had to happen now?!
