See, he'd taken this photo of Robotnik - it was nothing, really, just a small keepsake he'd managed to capture one day when the doctor had been tinkering with the badniks. He'd been shirtless, and sweaty, with grease stains on his cheeks, and something about the image made Stone want to keep it forever. But the problem was that he somehow accidentally managed to attach the photo to an internal email, and it had made its way through various government networks, all the way up to top military brass, before he realized what he'd done.

It was a simple task to scrub the photo from existence, but the memory remained, as did the humiliation. So here he was: sitting in the centre of the room, badniks floating around the periphery of his vision, Robotnik looking at him with the sort of expression that honestly made Stone want to run away. ]
