you wake up in the morning, and something has changed: Maybe you're a super villain, a super hero, a magician, a knight, a space explorer - but today, when you pad down the stairs (still half-asleep, still unfocused), you do not walk into your secret lair, your spaceship, your headquarters. You're now just an average Joe, and you're standing barefoot on a worn wooden floor, smelling fresh coffee. To boot, there's someone else in this kitchen, leaning on the counter, wearing pajama bottoms and an old t-shirt. The setting might be new, but hell, you know exactly who they are... so... why is your worst enemy/co-commander/partner/captain/etc currently pouring you a second cup of coffee and asking you for pointers on the crossword? WHAT EVEN? Leave any prefs, or set the scene, just don't leave your tl blank! Or it will be deleted.

[The smell of coffee is what wakes Rey from her slumber. It's a siren call that makes her open her eyes and sit up. The sheets don't feel right, softer than what she's used to, but she ignores it for what her body is demanding of her. The need for food and a hit of that coffee. Rubbing her eyes, she gets out of bed, failing to realize her clothes are different--a grey tank top with stars of different colors and black shorts. Her hair pulled back in a messy bun.

Her feet lead her to the kitchen to see Loki standing there, cooking bacon and...smiling at her? Was...was this a trick?]

She'd overslept, which meant he would probably have to find ways to shuffle around at least a third to half of the day's business, but that was nothing new. So he waited by the door, trying to decide if blurring lines this early was a bad idea. He'd left his half of the bed over an hour ago, and sure, some people would find their positions impossible to balance, they made it work. She held the power, he made everything work, and Drake Industries was something others admired.

Nobody could even say that her adoptive father had greased the wheels since Wayne had little say and a scant percentage of stock, just enough to be considered at stockholder's meetings, but nowhere near enough to hold sway with anything more than that intimidating personality.

But he hadn't heard any sounds of stirring, so he knocked a little louder. "Tim, sweetheart, you're going to be late."
