Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... Caleb's not even aware of the sound he makes as he sinks into the warm, steamy water of the hot tub. Letting the heat wash over his weary muscles. Bereft of his traveling clothes, his frame is slender, almost a tad too skinny, but certainly muscular. His red hair is still tied back in a haphazard ponytail, although as usual, a few errant bangs have managed to escape.

He's allowed the party to talk him into a good many things, but the addition of the hot tub to the Tower is certainly one of the few he's never lived to regret. It's a luxury. Certainly, something needed after the whirlwind battle they just went through.

His eyes close as he leans back against the edge, a soft sigh escaping as his head tips back and he simply allows himself to relax.

Caleb's not aware how long he's been lounging like this, but eventually, he can hear movement and sense the ripple of water which tells him someone else has gotten in with him.

He's just not prepared for that someone else to be a certain Shadowhand.

"Hold still." The evenness of his voice is belied by the stress on his face, jaw clenched and eyes focused as his claws delicately comb through the fur on Jack's chest. They were the last in their dorm in the baths, and the only pleasant thing about it was that, somehow, there was still hot water left. Naturally the two who most definitely did not bring fleas into the dorm would be the last ones to get to sit and soak them away.

He pinches a nit between two claws, discarding it as he continues carding through wet, yellow fur, heading ever lower without any real discretion or consideration other than to eliminate the unwanted threat. "Hold still," he urges, likewise not considering that the intimacy of the grooming might be unwanted—either because the touch is ticklish, or simply because it's starting to get a little too intimate, even for two who've known each other since they were pups.

"Are you going home for the fumigating this weekend?" Legoshi hasn't yet decided whether he'll hang around campus in the offered substitute dorms, or figure out something else.
