The Summer Festival Meme

Ah, summer: sunny days, clear skies, and endless days of freedom (or at least, childhood memories thereof). It's also the perfect time of year for festivals! So grab a friend or a date, don your concert outfit or your traditional attire, and enjoy the season of fun in the sun!

1. matsuri
Traditional Japanese summertime festivals feature fun foods, performances, dance, and music. Enjoy a walk around the festival grounds with a friend or sweetheart, and conclude your day by watching fireworks over the water!

The afternoon sun may be sweltering, but the heat won't get you down! Live it up with back-to-back outdoor concerts and mosh pits, or just hang out in the grassy hills and enjoy the thumping beats.

He hums to himself, slipping through a group of middle-school aged kids to get to a yakitori vendor. And oooh, that’s a pretty outfit -

But she supposes it can't be helped when they have a shortage of knights to do the patrols around the city and maintain peace and order while the festivities are ongoing. At the very least, aside from the one or two reports of drunken brawls, it's been rather uneventful, which she's hoping would continue as the festival and the day finally wind down. It's a tall order to make, but she's trying to be optimistic about this until the very end, especially after the recent events that disturbed Mondstadt.

Still, what's surprising is her current companion on her patrol. Yes, she knows that Lisa's quite busy managing some of the paperwork for the finances and Kaeya's ... off somewhere. But it's rather puzzling, knowing that Diluc has other, well, responsibilities and has very vocal opinions about the knights and working with them. ]

Isn't the tavern busy today, Master Diluc? [ She waves a hand at Sara, shaking her head when she offers them a drink. ] Did Lisa put you up to this?

[Dimitri and Jean's vacation to Inazuma was apparently optimally timed. It turned out that they would be in Inazuma City for the summer festival that is held there every year. Neither of them could even think about passing up such an opportunity, so they agreed to meet at the festival.

Come meeting time, Dimitri finds himself getting there first. He's changed his clothes for the occasion, donning a yukata that he bought from a local shop. The yukata is a solid blue with silver trim, and he's also wearing sandals on his feet and a white mask on the side of his head. There's a mask stand near the entrance to the festival, which is probably where he got that.

All to do now is wait for his date.]
