taking inspiration from the famous support group meme...

Do you like STUFF? Do you want to find other people who enjoy STUFF as well? Well worry no more.  There's a club. 

It's a nice little room somewhere, maybe in someone's home or at a community center.  It's got a banner and snacks and most importantly; lots of people who also share your love of STUFF.

What to do:

♦ Post with your character.  Instead of posting their name and series, post the name of a club based on one of their interests or hobbies.  For instance, if they like cats, it could be the 'Cat Lovers Club' if they like nature they could be in the 'Hiking Club' if they like food perhaps the 'Society of Gourmands' is right for them.  You get the picture.

♦ Go and look at what other people have posted.  If you see a club posted that you think your character would be interested in, tag it! You know you'll already have something in common with the people there.

MARTIAL ARTS CLUB

[ Anyone who practices any style or who is just a fan is welcome! The club probably meets in a gym or a dojo or something. ]

So what style do you practice?

Mixed Martial Arts, mostly. I've practiced others, like Judo, Karate, and Wing Chin, but mixed just gets the job done better for me.

[And then, because she doesn't some to seem like an ass (just yet, anyway), she'll do the polite thing and ask him as well.]

What about you?

Yeah, mixed fighters are usually pretty well rounded.

[ He doesn't think she sounds like an ass at all! Just a nice girl who's interests probab;ly involve punching people in the face. ]

I practice Kaburagi-ryu style karate for the most part, but I do know a little Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai.

Oh whoops! I meant Wing Chun not Wing Chin. I...don't have any excuse for my mistake.

We try to be.

[Punching people in the face is a very enjoyable and healthy way to take out your inner anger.

Also it works great as a job.]

Anyway, how long have you been practicing?

I figured that's what you meant!

How long...? Huh... A little under two years now I guess.

[ Time sure does fly. It seems like only yesterday that he was getting tricked into joining the Second Karate club at school. ]

But I've been doing gymnastics since elementary school, so that's helped me a lot. You?

Oh good! And I changed my mind about the mule.

[Just two years, huh? So he's not at her level...then again, you never know.]

Me? About eight years or so. It feels like it's been a lot longer than that though, probably because of all my training.

[ Well he's already caught the eye of some pro scouts... He's fairly happy in amateur tournaments currently though. ]

Eight years huh? Maybe we could spar sometime. I bet I could learn a lot from you!
