Whether it's a new home, a new partnership, or a new arrival, it takes some time and work to make sure that everything in your life is prepared just right. Of course, your idea of "secure and comfortable" may or may not be the same as your partner's... will the act of setting up your shared spaces bring you closer together, or will it become the thorn in your side?

Open to canon, crosscanon, crossmedium, etc. Ash is canonically bisexual so while shipping is difficult without assuming CR, M/F and M/M are both welcome though I request they be 16+ with no upper age limit. ( hi there! I have a kindhearted and very dead protagonist who is essentially the voice of reason/soft mom friend of his crew with a side of sass and some experience with fireams as well. it is basically his canon job to help his crew with their trauma, and he can go from sassy and dry humor with his more outgoing friends, to soft and sweet with his quieter and more withdrawn friends. he wants to help all the people!

as it happens, Otonashi has some rough patches in his background too and is impressed with things like having food and friends, so a warm place to just be is always something he’s open to. canon doesn’t have ages for anyone since they’re all dead and essentially in limbo, but he’s going for a college entrance exam at time of death, so minimum of 17-18, just fyi! what do you think? )

Heero had never had a roommate that stayed. Apparently he was... hard to live with. His parents complained that he was too closed off, even as a child. His roommates in college (before he finally convinced them that he should have a snigle room) complained that he was aloof, irritable, and fastidious. Heero chocked it up to just his alpha nature: he liked things where they were supposed to go and he liked his personal space. However, after proposing to his longtime boyfriend, he knew he was finally in trouble.

When his fiancee had said that they'd put off sharing a space long enough, he really couldn't argue with him any long; he'd been trying for over a year to keep the omega from moving in but he couldn't put it off anymore. Now, he was a good alpha and had been making space for his significant other to move in, even though the process felt like torture, but he would do it for Duo.

Today was the big moving in day and he was nervous as hell. He didn't want to upset his omega, he didn't want to lose his personal bubble and he knew there was no way that he could have both of those things. It was going to be a long day...
