The Love Letter Meme



Apparently, your character (or someone else) has given another character a note. Or vice versa. It's not just any note, either: it's a *~*LOVE LETTER*~ * Now it's time to face the music. Was this all a joke? Or was this meant to be in total secret but somehow you were figured out?

How this works:
→ Leave a comment with the usual information in the subject line: character name, fandom. Any preferences, including what you don't want, should be included as well.
→ Congratulations, either your character (or some prankster on your behalf) has given someone else a love letter or someone is giving yours one right now!
→ Tag around.
→ BONUS ROUND. Include the letter itself. Be creative!
→ Feel free to roll RNG (1-8) if you cannot come up with scenarios of your own.
→ Have fun, and be excellent to each other!

• 1 — Simply put: a love letter sent between lovers. (No secrets here. Do you reply in person or with a letter of your own?)

Dear James,

While this is hardly the way I would rather be speaking with you, it is all I'm allowed at the moment. It used to be that I had only thoughts of a life ended by the fall of Sokovia to keep me company, as well as all the ghosts and memories of what came after. During those haunted hours, I would try to bide my time with books or the radio to drown out things I didn't want to think about.

Now I find my thoughts drifting to you increasingly more often. To the times we shared or to what you might be doing now that you are truly free to live whatever life you choose. I understand if you decide not to answer, but this is merely a short note to wish you well.

And I suppose to thank you for the far more pleasant memories you've given me. I'm not certain how to convey how much they mean to me after so many years without.
