I've thought about what to write to you for days now. Though, it may be more apt to say that I've thought about nothing but you for just as many days, if not more. I realize you said this connection of ours isn't about romance and perhaps that's true. I've never felt such a connection with someone else. It's always been much simpler to focus on my work and responsibilities. It might be that life isn't about what's simple, though.
Somehow you've managed to make your way to the top of my list of priorities. Romance may not be what this connection of ours is about to you, but it might be to me. I don't know what else to call the need to touch you and to be near you. I might never forget the warmth of your hand in mine. Our connection may be a baser thing, something that doesn't hold much weight in the grand scheme of things, but it's important to me.
