1. proposal {
1. park - you've been planning this proposal for awhile and have taken your sweetheart to a nice secluded area in the park. are they going to say yes or leave you in the dust?
2. house - dimmed lights, candles, home made dinner. it's obvious you've fixed yourself up for something tonight. let's see if your lover catches on before the question is popped.
3. public event - perhaps you're one who wants to gain a lot of attention; maybe your significant other doesn't as much. either way, this goes from writing their message in the sky with an airplane to something like a flash mob ensemble with others involved.
4. restaurant - nothing romantic like taking them out somewhere ritzy and hiding the rings in that glass of expensive wine.
5. car - you've driven them somewhere nostalgic or meaningful either to you or each other, or perhaps just a good view overlooking the city cause maybe you had no other idea how to do it or couldn't afford anything else.
2. marriage {
1. traditional - both parties have agreed and said yes, and everything goes well just like in the fairy tales you've always dreamed of.
2. arranged - you had no say so in this but somebody else like your parents did. you've never seen this person before until you walk down the aisle. what are your thoughts? are you nervous? what if you two don't get along? looks like you have to deal with it either way. enjoy?
3. elope - nothing fancy. you know, they do make drive thru chapels or perhaps you're just going to experience the excitement of meeting up at the court. all and all, it doesn't matter, just so you have your sweetheart to yourself.
4. shotgun - congrats, somebody is pregnant. there's only one more thing left to do now..
5. disaster - looks like somebody forgot the rings! never mind the fact the maid of honor is having a wardrobe malfunction or that soon to be father in law is causing a scene of some sort.
3. after marriage {
1. honeymoon night - self explanatory! come on, you know what this means. it just wouldn't be the same without this option.
2. new addition - it could be a pregnancy or bringing home a new child, or something as simple as a new pet goldfish.
3. house purchase - after months of living in a trashy apartment, you're both about to sign the dotted line and move into your new place.
4. argument - deep, relationship sort of arguments or something petty like who drank all the milk; it's up to you!
5. divorce - somebody has had enough of this and is ready to move on. how will it all go down?

Spock - Star Trek 2009/OTA/Any option
How about #2-5? Just for the sake of variety. :D
[That's the simplest way to proclaim the current state of affairs, though it's a major discredit to just how badly everything's gone. It's almost spectacular, really. There's a knot of people fighting in the pews after a crazed man ran in to object to the wedding (the wrong wedding, actually; the one he wanted was the church down the street), which caused some of Spock and Orihime's more hot-tempered friends to throw punches.]
[Poison oak was somehow mixed into the small floral bouquets the bridesmaids carried, and they're all itching feverishly. The preacher called in sick at the last minute, and the only one left who could possibly preside was working off a hangover, and throwing up down the best man's collar. The cake is on fire. It's set off the sprinkler system, driving much of the wedding party outside. Orihime's white dress is splattered with mud from a panicked ring bearer bolting out of the building and accidentally shoving the bride into the wet dirt.]
[It seems like they can finally proceed as the drunken preacher wipes his mouth, and starts to speak. His words are drowned out by a clap of thunder, just before it begins to rain...hard. The rain is pelting, and only the heartiest and hardiest of friends remain at this point. It's the most disastrous wedding anyone has ever seen, and some are shaking their heads, calling it a bad omen.]
[Orihime looks up at Spock. The veil is still drawn over her face, wet and spattered with mud, but he can still probably see that she's smiling nonetheless, on the verge of bursting into laughter. Her hand seeks his. Her fingers are cold from the rain, but her grip is tight and reassuring. She speaks to him in a soft whisper.]
This is the funniest wedding I've ever seen!
Beautiful set-up m'dear~
However, the whole hilarity of the situation caused the Vulcan to give his intended a small smile.
Spock gently reached forward and took hold of her hand...]
Indeed...My mother would have enjoyed it.
Ah ha ha ha, thank you! XD
We'll have to tell her about it, then. Onii-san, too!
[Neither could be at this wedding, but that wouldn't stop her from chattering to her brother's picture about how much fun she'd had at the most catastrophic wedding of the century.]
[Hearing the priest start to loudly clear his throat, Orihime gives him her attention, her grin only widening when he starts to slur the oaths all over again.]

He stands there for a moment, arms crossed over his chest, and shifting his gaze onto Loki. Just wait until he learns that that's...your kid, Loki. Hell no he's not being a father. Hell. No.]
I would, if I knew where to start. [Well. It was true.]
CONSIDER IT BROUGHT-EN

3-1
Really, they had no reason to leave this place unless they wanted to. Vincent couldn't imagine either of them going all that far with everything that they needed at their fingertips.
Right now, he was standing upon the balcony of the master bedroom. The sun had long since set, and the light from the moon reflected beautifully off of the ocean. The balcony provided a beautiful view of it. Staring at it, Vincent couldn't help but feel more relaxed and at ease after all of that wedding stuff.]

She's been going through the rooms of the villa, excited to see every one (the house is so much more extravagant than she's used to), but her personal tour was a brief one, because what she really wanted was to find Vincent again.
She padded out onto the balcony, barefoot, and watched him watching the moon. He looked so absorbed in his contemplation that she couldn't resist tiptoeing up behind him and slipping her arms suddenly around his waist.]
Guess who?
[It was a silly little joke, but she was feeling happy and silly. Why shouldn't she? It was a beautiful night, and they were alone together.]

totally arranged fffff
[He's a leader, for crying out loud, and it's his decision about who to marry (or not marry at all, Moths didn't do that sort of thing, even though some of the more rebellious ones had been embracing it). But no, he's here because the "human/Moth bond has to be strengthened" or some stupid thing like that.]
[Well, if there was any consolation, this was more ceremonial than anything, and he could just dump his human wife on the side of the road once this is all over and not worry about anything else. Sheesh, as if he'd ever be serious marrying a human lady.]
[So, he's standing here, glaring at the flowers and idiotic decorations in the church as they get the preparations ready.]
Let this be over soon, god...
totally, hahaha ♥
With one glance at his ceremonial attire from across the room, she notices who he is. Her future husband... She walks toward him with a small, polite smile but stops as soon as she hears those words. ]

Princess Ovelia Atkascha | Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions | OTA
Proposal - 2 8 )c
He however, on the day before their one year anniversary spoke to Ovelia privately, inviting her to his place to have dinner together. He of course made it sound like a casual dinner date, to make up for the times he missed with her. Of course, it wasn't a complete lie.
X didn't want to mislead Ovelia, but he did wanted to surprise her. That's why he had the lights dimmed and the table set, arranged neatly and lit with candles.
He figured he could surprise her with a nice home cooked meal and pop the question in between dessert. Honestly he was nervous, and it felt as if his core kept accelerating with each nanosecond.
Waiting was the hard part, even if he was currently tidying up around the table settings, just so he could have things laid out perfectly for Ovelia.]
There.
[X murmured to himself after straightening up the flower arrangement for the umpteenth time. He felt a bit like himself in the past, as the up and starting Maverick Hunter all over again. But this time instead of going to face Mavericks head on...
A tiny box ring, and a heavy question awaited.]
W O W this got long, holy crap.
It didn't seem so long. In fact, it felt as though it had only happened yesterday, and the happy times, the arguments, and the shared sadness came in an instant. Even the moments where she and X had not been able to spend much time together seemed merely like a passing wind than any particular length of time.
...
Admittedly, she had been lonely during this time. It was...strange, not having him around as much, but she was not the girl she once was. She was not devastated with a loss of contact.
But she still buried herself in her work, seeing patient after patient and working with her studies tenfold, often sending X a draught or two for health when she had the time (it was so mysterious how Ivalice panaceas worked on organic and inorganic beings, but she wasn't about to question such a thing). She'd gone far in her studies, and even managed to master some of the higher level curing magics, even doing seminars to teach human physicians even the smallest of spells to assist with medicinal work (Regen was her favorite; it sped up the cell reproduction speed, but it didn't do much else, and allowed time for proper ointments and disinfectant without the use of stitches). So far, her job had been a satisfying one, and she'd even been teaching one or two apprentices (one from Ivalice, another a Neo Arcadian Native)...
...but such things proved stressful, and X always was a balm to such things.
He...was the warmth that lit up her dark life and made it glow with energy again. She had so much that she owed to him, and sometimes she wondered if her love, strong as it was, was enough.
He was so good to her.
And they were to be together for a year. When he suggested a dinner date, something small in his private home, she'd of course been delighted. His cooking was...admittedly far better than her own, and she loved little things like this. Cheerful meals were not...commonplace to her in Ivalice.
She'd long...gotten over much of the pain of her farce of a marriage to Delita, but it didn't mean she didn't feel happy at every difference she got to live out in comparison to that cold...perhaps not loveless, but certainly truthless existence.
A casual dinner date, but a special occasion. Of course, she had to dress the part.
For weeks, she'd had the help of a local seamstress to fashion a replica of her old dress, from when she was still but a girl, with some obvious changes in cut to match her more mature countenance: a sewn-in sash of a soft shimmering material was in the back, tied tightly in a bow so as to accentuate her waistline; and along her turtleneck collar, Neo Arcadian symbols were sewn with golden thread, to prove as a contrast and a complement to the Ivalician symbols along the skirt. There was no cape, no symbol of Ivalician Royalty. Just a lovely white Ivalician-style dress with no special class attachment.
Originally this had been fashioned for more sentimental and nostalgic reasons, but with the dress finished and sitting in her closet, she knew that she had to wear it tonight. It and some blue Ivalician hair fasteners for her braids.
Perhaps it was...a bit fancy, but...it was formal enough to be considered 'nice', and yet informal enough to be worn to such a thing.
...Besides...she was wearing it of her own free will. She was not wearing this dress as a Princess, but as a woman who wished to pay homage to her home, while still complementing her present one.
The child threw away her old dresses and said she was too old for them.
The woman took those old dresses and made them her own.
...and chastised herself for giddily wondering how X would react to her dressing in traditional Ivalician dress, something she'd never found herself able to do for him. Partially due to personal reasons, and partially...
...well. After she'd grown comfortable with the idea, she'd decided to save it for a special occasion.
Like now. This...counted, didn't it?
Of course it did.
Unaware of X's intentions, she walked towards X's door, just as she always had.
And just as she always had, she gently knocked.]
X...?
