SUPER FLUFF MEME

It's what you get when you combine the Affectionate Physical Contact Meme with the general Fluff meme. Since they're both basically related and are involved with one another, why not go ahead and throw them together for the ultimate fluff situation? Here's how it works:

Post with your character with the character's name and series in the subject line.
Others respond.
Use RNG and enter 1-15 to pick a scenario.
Then use RNG again and enter 1-9 to pick which physical contact to use next. "Roll" this as often as you want.

fluff scenario

1. Sick day. You're down with the flu or some injury. Whatever the reason, you're bedridden or at the hospital. Aren't you lucky that that special someone came to visit you?

2. Date night. You've made special plans to show that special someone just how much you love them and nothing can go wrong tonight.

3. Cheer up. One or both of you is feeling down and it's time to get out of that slump by either finding a way to distract yourself or talking it out with the other person.

4. Love confession. Your stomach is doing flip flops and your heart is racing, but you've read all the signs right, and it's time to let that other person know you feel the same way.

5. Special gift. Maybe it's the first time, or maybe this is the gift that really counts. Birthday, Christmas, or just a random present, you've been planning and saving up for this one and are hoping that special person will like it.

6. Last time (for awhile). One of you is going away for some reason (it can be as simple or angsty as you want it to be) and you may be back or you may not, but you want to spend the time you've got left where you are with someone special.

7. Pillow talk. You've just had fantastic sex (which playing out is optional!) and you're both content to lay back and enjoy a little bit of pillow talk or maybe go for round two as soon as you catch your breath!

8. Shared dessert. Whether it's because you're both cheap or you're one of those cute, lovey-dovey couples who love sharing desserts, the two of you are sharing that delicious ice cream sundae or cake with one another. Did some of it get on your partner's nose? Or maybe you want to go ahead and take a bite out of the cookie sticking out of their mouth.

9. Need a friend. You just want to hang out with the guys/girls and have a little fun.

10. I'm sorry. You had a fight with someone and now it's time to kiss and make up. . . or at least make up.

11. A moment at home. There's nothing better than enjoying a peaceful day without anything to worry about. Maybe you'll share a book with a friend, or just enjoy some tea and catch up.

12. Been so long. You're back after a long trip somewhere and now it's time to meet up with someone you've missed a lot and make up for lost time!

13. I'll defend you until the end. You're going to fight for that person and you're going to let them know it or show them, whichever comes first.

14. Pillow fight. You're both feeling the need to have some friendly horseplaying, and what better way than with pillows?

15. Wild card. Reroll, pick an option, or come up with something else!

physical contact

1. Hugging. You just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. Be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

2. Kissing. Whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! Be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

3. Holding hands. It's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. But that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. What the sentiment is is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

4. Carrying. Is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? Do they want a piggyback ride? Or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? Whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination (maybe even the bedroom).

5. Dancing. Kick up the music, because it's time to dance! But no lone dancing allowed -- you need to have a partner! You can do whatever dance strikes your fancy. Personally, I recommend the slow dance, but you can do whatever you want!

6. Massaging. Did your significant other have a rough day? Did they get hurt? Or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? Whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. They'll feel wonderful in no time!

7. Tickling. Does that special someone feel a little tense? Maybe they've been frowning a little too much late? Or maybe you're just feeling a little devilish. Give them a tickle and see what happens!

8. Cuddling. Sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. Hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

[If there was one problem that Thomas had while he was in the Secret Six, it was his penchant for switching sides at the very last minute. Usually when the job required just a bit more dirty work than he was in for.

When a group of mercs had come to him for help with a government ordinance heist, he hadn't expected kryptonite bullets to be part of it. Nor did he expect one of them to be used on an investigating kryptonian powerhouse. So now he found himself fighting against his own employers as he tried to get her out of the building.]

Can you walk, or not?

[He ducks down as a bullet nearly wings his ear.]

[Okay, ow... Where did these guys get a hold of kryptonite? Why was it always kryptonite? She held onto her arm tightly as she tried to take a step forward only to stumble forward. While the bullet had hit her arm, the kryptonite was made her quite helpless.]

I'm fine...

[She was being stubborn. Sure Blake was being friendly now but just how long was that going to last?]

You ain't fine. If you were fine, you'd have tied these guys in knots by now.

[He readies a knife and climbs onto a stack of cargo, waiting for the right moment before hurling it into the neck of one merc, who fires wildly in the hold in his death throes.]

I don't suppose you have a hot line to your friends, do you? I'm running short on weapons.

[Don't remind her, she really wishes she had the chance to knock out each and every one of these punks right about now. She'll just grumble a little at that as she leans up against the stack of cargo. Sweat drips down her forehead from the strain of the kryptonite.]

Tried that already, something in the building is cutting off any transmissions...

[The remaining guys are agitated now. They fan out, searching for them in every nook of the hold. He motions for her to stay quiet, throwing a tarp over her as he goes to the lower deck.

Footsteps get closer to her, until they're almost right in front of her location. Thomas springs into action, tossing a line around the neck of one man from below and dragging him backwards. The fall leaves him either unconscious or dead. Thomas doesn't care which. He picks up the fallen man's grenade belt, activating one and tossing the belt into a distant munitions crate. The explosions sets off the volatile materials within, causing a chain reaction in the hold.

The other gunman near Kara is distracted enough to not notice sneaking up on him. He snaps his neck from behind, before retrieving Kara. He lifts her up over his shoulder as he makes his way to the nearest exit.]

That'll keep them busy and confused for a bit. And I sincerely hope you aren't going to get preachy about lethal force.

[Kara remained quiet as the tarp was thrown over her. Her vision was starting to get blurry anyways, she wasn't in any condition to argue with him. Her life was in his hands for the moment, what happened outside of that tarp was just a blur of sounds in her ears, she couldn't make out what was happening until he came to retrieve her.]

...Talk about that later. Just go.

[She hung limp from his shoulder, he could feel her shallow breathing as he moved toward the exit.]

[Luckily, he didn't have to sneak by but one or two guards, what with their attention mainly being on the now all-consuming fire that was destroying their haul. He managed to get her out of the bunker and half a kilometer away before finally having to stop.]

Alright, lay against this tree. Should be safe, for the time being.

[He went about opening his sachel, getting out a few field materials. Various herbs, his hunting knife, small medical tongs. Perfect for field medicine.]

You ever had a projectile extracted? I need to get the bullet out.

[She did just as she was told... Well to be honest she more or less once he set her down she slid down against the tree, she was unable to hold herself up any longer.]

Yeah... Not the first time this has happened.

Here. Chew these.

[He hands her a pack of herbs and a stick.]

It'll dull pain without making you lose any mental clarity. The second pack is for stopping blood loss after. I suggest you take this stick and bite down on it.

[She takes the first pack of herbs and quickly starts to chew on them.]

Just get the bullet away from me... I'm a quick healer when that's around.

[She eyes the stick for a moment, before she puts it in her mouth and bites down as he instructed.]

[He focuses himself, steadying his hands before digging prying the wound open. Thankfully the bleeding isn't very severe. He can see the glowing shard quite clearly. The tongs probe around, parting the tissue enough to grasp it.]

At least I don't have to make any new cuts. Extracting now.

[She bites down hard on the piece of wood as he works. She closes her eyes and let's out a light whimper. She just hopes this is over and done with soon.]

[After a bit of working he finally manages to get it free, tossing it into the underbrush.]

Alright, it's done.

[He closes the wound with a skin adhesive, doubting the effectiveness of suturing without the kryptonite around.]

[Once the kryptonite's been removed she spits out the hunk of wood and looks up to him.]

Thanks... Get that away from me now.

[She eyes the adhesive. It's unnecessary but it's the thought that counts, right?]

[He brushes the dirt off, then stands up, offering his hand.]

"You're welcome, Catman. Thank you for pulling my fat out of the fryer."

[His cowl comes down. He wants to look her right in the eyes when he says it.]

That's how it's supposed to sound. What is it with you good guys? Even when we end doing the right thing, you look at us like we're animals.

[She takes his hand and slowly pulls herself up. She's still a little shaky from the effects of the kryptonite. But she's getting better. She let's him get that out of his system before giving him a bit of a glare of her own.]

You were doing something stupid when I got there. Don't forget that.

[There's a small pause.]

But you're right too. Thank you, you did save my life.

Yeah, but I was there to steal and make a buck, not kill anyone. They didn't tell me that place had a stash of anti-Super rounds.

Not like I didn't try to go straight for a while. It's kind of hard with guys like you constantly breathing down my neck.

Well you managed to do the complete opposite.

[Her fist tightens, she wants to lay into him for killing them, but she's also feeling very conflicted about this. Why was this guy such a freakin' wild card.]

Just watch who you decide to make work for next time, alright?

Maybe it's best if we agree to disagree on this for now? I'd rather thank you at the moment, but if we keep this up I know that'll be replaced by an urge to punch you.

I don't have the luxury of going easy. I'm not bullet-proof, and I don't carry a billion high-tech gadgets in my utility belt. I actually have to make sure they don't get back up, or I die.

[He takes the edge out of his voice, releasing his stress in a single sigh as he rubs the bridge of his nose.]

...Anyway, I think I'll take your advice.

[She let's out a little sigh as well. There's an awkward pause and she moves in to give him a little hug.]

Thank you, for that and for saving me.

[That, he was not expecting. He hesitates, then tries to give as much of a non-committal hug as he can.]

Well, now I'm getting a lot MORE than I expected. I'll try not to let the realization that you could crush my body like a styrofoam cup linger in the back of my mind.

Well now you can't say I never showed my gratitude.

...It may be a little harder than styrofoam. I'm not exactly at my A game right now, but you know the full story behind that.

[After a moment she let's go and steps back.]

I don't suppose I could get a ride to the mainland? It's a long swim.

I think I can manage that.

[It takes her a moment but she manages to get herself airborne. She floats up behind him and picks him up.]

Now, I don't mean to go back to the previous topic when we said we'd drop it but you may want to choose another name if you don't want people to treat you like an animal.

But...it's my theme. It's always been my theme. Besides, I didn't mean it like that. It's not about the outfit. There are white hats with scarier outfits. It's the moral judgement that gets to me.
