The no-holds-barred-finally-legal 21? Or that stately eighty candles that might set the cake on fire... 3. Sweet Valentine → Not that you need a commercialized excuse to butter up your sweetheart, but if the heart-decorated chocolate truffle fits... 4. Anniversary → You didn't forget this year! But seeing as how it only comes once a year, you'd better make it fantastic or you'll be sleeping on the couch... again :( 5. Wedding Bells → It's the bride and groom's happiest day and you want to give them something to commemorate this momentous occasion! 6. [Laughing, she leans forward just enough to place a feathery-light kiss on the corner of his lips. Whispering:]

[ He responds by giving her a quick nuzzle with the tip of his nose. ]

[Laughter as the coldness of his nose tickled hers; when she pulled back, she had to rub her face a little to warm it back up. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, and she thought--not for the first time--what a strange relationships they actually had. It was so different from any she'd ever had before.]

[Her eyes lit up. She loved the snowglobe means of traveling. It was rare she ever had the chance to, making this moment so much more special.]

Okay, Jack, be honest. Did he give it to you, or did you "borrow" one from his shop.

[Though the "test" part made her suspect that, for once, it was the former.]

[ He pretends to be insulted at the question, but he's grinning too widely to really pull the look off. He pulls out a snow globe that's much smaller than the ones normally used, about the size of a large marble and offers it to her. ]

He's been trying to make them smaller so we can't use the excuse of not carrying any.

Would you like to do the honours?

[She nods eagerly, accepting the tiny globe in her hands. Taking a moment to run her finger over the smooth, glassy surface. Once she was satisfied, she knelt down and rolled it across the sidewalk. It made it all of five feet before the magic took hold, enlarging into a portal easily large enough for the two of them.]

[ Jack seized her hands, laughing as he tugged her towards the portal. ]

Lake George, here we come!

[ A flash of light and then they're standing in a small copse of snow-laden trees, the sun shining on the bright tents not far away that marked the edge of the carnival grounds. ]

[Her eyes light up as bright as the scene before her, giving the hand still clasped in his a squeeze. She barely even noticed the cold yet.]

Now this is how you celebrate a birthday.

So...come here often? [She barely gets the question out, trying to contain her laughter at the deliberate cliche.]

[ Jack's question is so innocent it might derail the humour momentarily, but all in good fun. ]
