Some of these places may be less hospitable to life than others, but all present their own unique challenges... and all command respect, for both their beauty and their power to support or end a life. Wherever you may travel, and for whatever reason, mind your environment. The wilderness can support you, but it can also ruin you. Will you fight it, or adapt to it?

2. If y, do you have a preference for the starter? As in what prompt, what tone - I've been waffling on writing a starter, but there's a lot of differences between something like 'they've been going in circles in the Lost Forest of Telantia, and they suspect some fairies might be behind it, and they've just spotted a dryad who noped away before they could ask for directions, but it's more inconvenient opposed to dangerous' and 'a deadly monster just ate NPC-kun and there's some survival horror going and they're going to be chased, and everything's quite upsetting and angsty.'

So I figured I'd ask, in case, you know, you're craving something in particular. And if not, I can come up with something.

[ The mountain side rising up behind Brunate overlooks both Lake Como and Como, its namesake town (or is it the other way around, was the lake named first or second, it's difficult to tell in these matters), and at this time of day, hours before sundown, but long after it's hit zenith, the light bears a heavy golden and purplish hue. It promises shadows, soon, but not quite yet.

They've set up camp at the edge of a grazing enclosure, in the middle of some low shrubland. Elio had picked up dinner for them in Brunate proper an hour and a half ago and brought it with him back, they'd eaten bread dipped in olive oil and a carefully wrapped roasted chicken while watching the rays of sun on the surface of the lake change all their angles and their general reflectiveness. It looks like a painting by Monet, still. Elio spares a thought for the berm back home.

Then, he thinks about the lariosauro which is, ironically, a less evasive thought.

Having packed away the remnants of dinner and filled two mugs with café-made coffee out of a thermos, he glances sideways at Theo, taking a long sip out of his cup. ]
