stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

[The weather had been disappointing her lately, for winter it sure hadn't been very cold...or anything like winter at all. Of course that changed when one day a blizzard came out of a sudden cold draft and there was more snow than anyone could deal with. But Erika knew how to handle it. If life gives you lemons, you squeeze them into an unfortunate person's eye who deserved it like that one series she'd read.

So if life gives you several feet of snow? She grabs some snow into her hands to roll into a ball before launching it at the first person she sees. If life gives you snow, then clearly the only thing to do with it was-]

Snowball fight, snowball fight!

[ There's a bit of recoil when the snowball hits Morgiana square on the side of the head, and for a moment she's shocked, not because it particularly hurt or anything, but because, having never seen snow before now, she had never anticipated something like this to happen! So she looks back at the culprit incredulously before slowly realizing what she has to do.

So she crouches down and scoops up some snow... ]

[Target hit! She doesn't even look the least bit sorry as she runs around, scooping up more snow for her ammunition. Making snowballs while running was pretty difficult to get right, and one of the balls she throws is more loose snow than an actual packed lump. But thinking quick was key! She would be a hell of a snowball fighter, no matter what! She just laughs as she works on grabbing more snow and attempting to dodge the other girl's attacks.]

Too slow! You gotta be quicker than that!

[ It takes her a while before she gets the hang of actually getting the snow into a ball, especially when she's being pelted with more snowballs all the while. But when she finally gets it down, she's ready. Oh, she is ready. She gets up, cradling a number of snowballs in her arm, and starts moving.

Now the question is getting to throw a snowball without a) it getting obliterated by air velocity before it reaches its target, and/or b) piercing a whole into someone. So she does her best to gauge her strength, and attempts a throw! ]

[Try as she might to dodge the incoming snowball she just isn't fast enough, and it gets her with what feels like a punch to the shoulder. It seemed she'd underestimated her opponent this time around. If Yumacchi were here he'd have reminded her that cute ones are the ones to look out for. Never trust the cute ones. But there's no real harm done, and she chucks another ball towards the other girl. She had to be quick, she had to be deadly. She had to be like a ninja. Believe it!]

Oho, the offense charges. I wont lose so easily, you've gotta do more than that!

[ She steps aside just before the snowball can hit her, and then she's picking up another from her reserve. Morgiana breaks into a sprint and leaps, attempting to throw her snowball at her while she's in the air! ]
