The Ultimate Dragon Au Meme
Based loosely off three different prompts. A couple honorable mentions, with only a few prompts from each. Not sure if anyone's interested but I made this and I'm pretty proud of it. Also, who doesn't love dragons?
Dragons are fierce and proud creatures. It's well known their myths and various types encompass the whole world. And this meme was made as a way to have fun with dragons in various methods, scenarios, settings, and prompts. There are four sections, Wholesome, Horror, Dragon Quests, and Sex. Feel free to take liberties, whether it's origins, prompts or the elemental types of your dragons!
Wholesome section:
1. rival dragon riders - you both have been rivals for a long time. You each try to win against each other in tricks or competitions. Could focus exclusively on rivals or could focus on one rival and their dragon.
2. the dragon tower - for whatever reason, you thought it was a good idea to break into the locked tower. The locked tower guarded by a dragon. And now, either alone or with your partner(s) in crime, you must face down a very cranky dragon.
3. magical street fair - you aren't technically supposed to be here. You could get in trouble if you're caught but you couldn't avoid coming. They're doing real magic shows here! Alternatively, you might be keeping things safe and calm here when you spot someone or something that shouldn't be here. Either way, you're about to bump into someone while enjoying the sights.
4. dragon joy riding - if you're going to live it up, you might as well steal a dragon, right? And what could be more fun than stealing a dragon for a spontaneous ride through the skies?
5. creature feature - the two of you have been arguing in circles for a while now. Either you and your partner can't decide who will go negotiate/threaten the annoying bridge troll/orcs/goblins/etc in your way or you're having to put up with them on your own. A little help?
6. dragon quest of love - my folks might be making you steal a griffin feather/dragon scale/etc to prove your love but that’s not stopping me from going with you.
7. mirror mirror on the wall - you've fallen in love with your magic mirror. There's just one problem. How are you going to meet your true love in person? Maybe it's a curse, maybe it connects you to a different realm, maybe it connects you to someone new every time you leave the room. Whatever the case, you need to find a way to fix this so that you can meet face to face.
8. accidentally kidnapped - you're kidnapped by a magical group of good natured thieves. Do you need rescuing, are you going to go along with their plans to rob the dragon, or are you going to plan your escape?
9. first pet dragon - you found an egg or a baby dragon. You've decided to raise it into adulthood.
10. witch's artifact - for whatever reason, you stole an ancient/sacred artifact from a witch. Now, the witch has sent a dragon after you to retrieve it.
Horror section:
1. sacrifice - whether it's a prophecy or a straight up demand sent down from the dragon itself, a sacrifice is needed. Someone needs to die. Do you choose a willing victim and hope the dragon is merciful? Or is someone being forced into this position against their will?
2. worship - it's how it's always been in this city/town/village. Someone is selected to worship and gain favor from the dragon. What happens to them after is unknown. Are they kept captive, used and discarded, devoured? Who knows. The only thing known for certain is that once you go, you won't be coming back.
3. abduction - haven't you heard? You don't go to the clearing in the woods. Or maybe you avoid the crystal clear, beautiful lake. Or perhaps you don't go out at dusk. Whatever the warning, you need to avoid going out to a certain area or after a certain time, to avoid being stolen away by a dragon. Hopefully, nothing happens so that you can't avoid following those instructions.
4. pregnancy - it was thought impossible. Perhaps you escaped or maybe you were "rescued" from the dragon but it seems, it wasn't "in time" after all. Looks like they've left you with a little "present". Is this something joyful or are you left with dread, wondering what will happen next and if you can never escape the dragon.
5. vanquished - someone came to challenge the dragon. Maybe it was someone you knew; a loved one, family, a friend, maybe even a former lover. But they were no match. Maybe they were only after rescuing you and fighting the dragon for glory and prestige. Whatever the reason, looks like you'll have the grim job of burying what little remains and finding a way to inform the locals, so they can pass on the news to their family.

But regardless of why you were watching the dragon(s), you got found out and now you've been captured by them. Better hope you can appeal to them to be merciful.
7. taboo - you sought the dragon out yourself. Not only that, you want to find a way for the two of you to be closer. You want this dragon for yourself. Now, to convince the dragon that they want you, too...
8. pact - the two of you have made a pact. Maybe you want the dragon to get revenge for you. Maybe you want it for it's power. Dragons are known to have a lot of magical elements, as well. Whatever the reason you sought it out, it's a transactional relationship. The dragon will get something out of this, too. Whether now or later, the dragon will always get it's due...

1. hired killers - you were hired to kill this dragon. You're one of the best in the land. Almost no one matches your abilities-- damn it! They hired you to kill the dragon, too?! Well, now what?
2. oopsie - my bad. Looking closer, your scales are the wrong color. Uhh, this is awkward but do you know where I can find x dragon? Looks like I was attempting to kill the wrong dragon.
3. tell me a story - hey, so I haven't actually decided if I want to follow through but I was hired to kill you. But, I'd rather hear why I was hired to kill you or about your amazing exploits!
4. I can't do it - this, this is it? This is the dragon you're supposed to kill? But, but! They're just so nice! You can't kill them!
5. bumbling - you've managed to amuse the dragon by your failed attempts. Whether it was an attempt on their life, an attempt to steal from them, or even an attempt to woo them, it went horribly wrong. But, at least the dragon wants to know more about you and why you're here, instead of killing you?
6. dark, stormy night - everything was going fine until the storm rolled in. And then, things just turned sideways. Maybe it was a sudden dragon attack. Maybe the other side waited to attack the dragon until now. Whatever the case, it's a cliché for a reason.
7. can't get worse - you, you really said it. You said the phrase. Welp. Whatever happening can only go downhill from here. Whether it's one dragon attack turning into a whole flight attacking, that wound potentially getting worse, or your attempts at stealing the dragon's loot being discovered by the dragon, things definitely can get worse and you're about to find out firsthand how.
8. stuck - listen, uhh, I hope you're a friendly dragon. Cause, funny story, while trying to break into your lair, I kinda sorta got stuck in the hole in the wall. Can, can you help me out?
9. ruined plans - really? Really? You've been planning this outing all week! Your wedding has been in the work for months. It's beyond irritating that this, this, had to happen now! Dragon mating season! Or maybe it's a dragon attack. Or a dragon migration. Whatever the case, you're pissed and you're going to let these dragons know all about it.
10. catch a dragon - could be a trap, could be a net, could be a magical spell. Maybe you want to catch it to sell it. Maybe you want to train it so you can ride it. Maybe you want it as a pet. Maybe your reasoning is... less than pure. Whatever the case, you're set on catching one.
11. beauty and the beast - except, this time, the dragon is the one cursed. They look so beautiful -- and they hate it. They miss their scales, they miss their wings, they miss the freedom to fly wherever they wanted. Can you possibly learn to see past their beautiful exterior to their scaly heart underneath?
12. rapunzel - listen. You just wanted a proper tower as you're roost. You didn't sign on to care for some locked up stranger when you killed a witch to earn her tower.
13. sleeping beauty - somehow, someway, you ended up under a sleeping curse. And it seems they've run out of options, because princes and princesses just aren't doing the trick. But this wandering dragon sure seemed to do the trick. But, erm, he sure has some interesting ideas on how to wake you and what to do to you, now that you're awake.
14. first sight - you've been messaging secretly with someone for ages in regards to building up peace between your race and dragons. You just never realized that you were messaging with an actual dragon, much less a dragon ruler. And now, upon meeting this famously scary person, one or both of you are slowly realizing who the other is.
15. fake hatred - you've built up a reputation and that reputation only grows if you pretend to hate the dragon and they pretend to hate you back. Plus, you're now seen as rivals, so whenever you two decide to team up, everyone tends to back down and listen to you both. It just works out so much better this way and is so much more fun.
Sex options:
1. bite - didn't you know? Some dragons have an aphrodisiac bite. That little nip is starting to feel a whole lot better all of a sudden.
2. introductions - all creatures have different ways of introducing themselves. That includes different types of dragons. Some fight, some fuck, some burn a village to the ground. It varies.
3. putting it off - you've been waiting for this to happen and putting it off. Maybe you're nervous. After all, not all junk looks the same. Or feels the same. And dragons can be... big. Really big.
