Llewellyn was riding the ‘struggle bus,’ as some might say. The last few months had been something of an experience, most of which he hoped with enough caffeine he might forget about. The advice of ‘Therapy, a fresh start, maybe get a pet to keep you company’ was tossed around by several of his colleagues, and only two of those had really stuck.

Maybe they hadn’t meant to move across the Atlantic when they suggested a fresh start, but the amount he wanted to put behind him was pretty substantial at this point... So this seemed like an appropriate distance. He did have to promise to meet up with George’s... Ex? Friend? They weren’t entirely clear on that, but a connection outside his circle that might help him with finding his feet was probably a good idea.

She’d even made sure most of his boxes had been delivered before he arrived, and gotten his puppy from quarantine ahead of him. The small pup hopefully hadn’t destroyed anything in the last few hours, but he had made sure the little wrinkle was house-trained before the big move decision.

So now, balancing a couple boxes and a bag of his things couldn’t send ahead of him, he was struggling to get the door open while being mindful of said pup. Not that it worked, Llewellyn had comedic levels of bad luck. A box toppling from his stack as he nudged the door open with his foot and a small awkward little puppy darting out the crack in the door with a yip and an excited wiggle.

“Ah... Beans...!” He huffed, as he let the other boxes and bag drop as he looked around with the resignation of someone who knew he was going to have to chase after something faster than him.
