It's different here.

[Gus tips his head to the side as he regards the sky up above them. Growing up hidden away in Yellowstone park made being in a bustling city like New York feel stifling. He had lucked into running into Holly when he was busy running from kids who wanted to grab him by his horns. That was an hour or two ago.

Now it's night and they're in Central Park. He's glad to be in what little green space this concrete city has available. The meteor shower going on overhead is hard to make out, but if he closes his eyes he can remember what it looks like back home. His Pubba told him that the stars were one of the things that were the same everywhere. Right now, it felt like another lie.
