This is a highly sexual and somewhat dangerous meme! Many if not all options are potentially triggering. Please use your best judgment before participating.

1. Comment with your character, putting their name, canon, and any prefs (e.g. women only, not #4, AU, aged up, etc.) in the subject line and/or comment.

Options:

1. The Slutty One: When you're sprayed with this pollen, all you wanna do is bang. All inhibitions go out the window—if you don't get some orgasms pumping out, your whole world is gonna end. Seduction, debasement, that's what this option's all about. Do whatever it takes to get that sweet, sweet satisfaction.

2. The Violent One: This pollen makes you wanna bang, sure, but it also makes you pissed as fuck. Everything's painted in red—the anger's overwhelming. Whoever you see next? That's who's taking the full force of your assault. You don't know if you wanna punch 'em or kiss 'em, but something's gonna happen.

3. The Soulmate One: There's only one person the pollen is driving you to find, driving you to romance, driving you to be with — biblically. And maybe it's not someone you want to be this attracted to, but your mind/body/spirit—everything's saying yes. Even if your sensibility alone says no. Time to hunt out your soulmate and convince them this is destiny.

4. The Touch-based One: This pollen works a tad differently from the others. Instead of dousing an individual and making them need, it waits until they've touched someone. It could be the slightest brush of fingertips, it could be a kiss from an already willing lover. Whatever it is, the pollen's activated, and there's no going back. Every touch feels a little bit better than the last.

5. The Possessive One: This sex pollen is the lovechild of options 2 and 3 — a pollen that makes you crazy about that one particular person. You've gotta have them, protect them, own the moment. There's no one you'd rather be 'sharing' this with, and no one they're allowed to. Jealousy and need taken to the highest level.

6. The Snuggly One: The lightest of all the sex pollens, this variety just asks for some good, snuggly fun. Not necessarily vanilla, but definitely kinder. A hug can be just as good as a handjob if it's from the right person. Kinda.

7. The Hallucinogenic One: Whooooa, man. This is a trip. Nothing's looking quite right, the sky is purple, the ground is pitch black, and the person in front of you looks like your latest wet dream. This pollen clogs the mind and leaves its victim feeling high and confused. What a predicament.

8. The Animalistic One: Speaking of dulled down thought processes—this pollen has removed all of them. Nary a one remains, because now you're pure animal, living in the moment, looking for a mate. Your ability to speak in more than hisses and growls and monosyllabic conversation's been compromised. Let's hope it passes.

9. Wild Card: Mixup, mashup, do whatever you like.

( it's the sort of thing you would expect when it comes to luck with away missions — at least, when it comes to his luck; a four-person away team, captain and three science officers for the purpose of running scans on a seemingly uninhabited planet. figuring it out, maybe finding something useful, that sort of thing explorers are supposed to do.

when they're not getting themselves in trouble, of course. as seems to be one ( 1 ) james tiberius kirk's motive whether he's consciously aware of it or not.

( he's aware of it, and don't ever let him make you think he isn't. he knows good and damned well how much of a menace he can make of himself when he wants to, and so does your father, jo, who would probably delight in telling you all the times he's had to drag himself out of one thing or another by teeth and nails and one hell of an attitude.

he's a doctor, damn it, not a tactical espionage expert. though it might stand to reason he's gotten pretty good at that sort of thing over the years. that's neither here nor there. )

it really could have gone worse, all things considered. no aggressive fauna, at least not that they'd come across, nothing but unassuming flora with the sole exception of one that effectively sneezed on the entire team when they'd gotten too close, a cloud of slightly sparkly, pink-tinted dust they all assumed to be pollen leaving them looking like they'd barely managed to escape a stampede of unicorns with their lives intact when they returned to the ship.

captain's hindsight, twenty-twenty: even if the atmosphere is breathable, never go down into the unknown without a helmet. spock and bones both are probably going to tell him as much, the former with that quiet, chiding tone of his and the latter with all the sass in the known damned world.

a trip to the medbay seems to find them all no worse for the wear, and when joanna gives them all a dismissal, it should surprise absolutely no one to find that jim lingers, as he often does, still propped up on one of the nearby biobeds and looking every bit like when he opens his mouth, nothing but trouble is going to come out of it. ) You know. ( dramatic pause for the sake of it, because look who you're talking to here. ) I'm starting to feel a little … off. ( he reaches out to pluck an imaginary piece of fuzz from the neck of her uniform when she passes by close enough, the very tips of his fingers brushing over the point at which fabric gives way to skin, and something in him … snaps? either out of place or into it, but a sliver of heat shudders through him so quickly he very nearly shivers with it, blinks with a bit of confusion before carrying on with his bullshit unnecessary exaggeration. )

( she'd stayed at the safe house after he'd gotten her there, refusing to let them take her elsewhere. she had nowhere else to go, not with the library destroyed, not (currently) having any way to get home with everything that was going on. and she wanted to be useful. chris was the only one that knew about her magic but she had research on her side, she might not have a scientific mind but any information that they received or was brought in she could work with, organise, connect pieces to so they could fight this, find people, do their damn jobs a little easier.

she also wanted to make sure that he was alright. he didn't need looking after but after rescuing her, after keeping her secret... she didn't want anything to happen to him if there was something she could do to help out.

which also meant that every time he was out she lingered, listening in to the radio, nervous and soothed at hearing the updates, keeping reading to provide something useful back. when she knew that he was close back to base she retreated to what had been turned into a makeshift office, letting him debrief first, knowing she'd find him later. unless he found her first )

"Enjoy my present in memory of happy times. And see you soon. G." Chuck read. "Shit. Georgina's..." Something about the flowers was familiar, but he realised a split second too late as they were both covered by an explosion of misty pollen.

He groaned, recognising the scent. "Georgina's sent either you or us an aphrodisiac bomb. And we've about five minutes before it really kicks in. We could handle it together. I could hire us a couple of hookers. Or if you want to stay pure and ride it out I've a private dungeon in one of the hotel rooms we could lock you in for half a day." And then he'd use a hooker.
