One day, they were going to catch a break. They'd go a week without some supernatural lunatic showing up on their doorstep and causing trouble, or they'd at least be able to deal with the problem without everything going horribly wrong.

It was, apparently, not this day. Oh, they'd defeated their latest mystical enemy, but not without getting coated in some horrible sticky magic gunk that, Deaton had informed them, would need to be washed off relatively quickly.

Derek was, of course, his own brand of supernatural lunatic and lived in a house without running water, so Stiles had drawn the short straw and was driving one gross werewolf back to his place to use his shower. After which they would very thoroughly clean his jeep.

Except their luck was still exactly as it always was and his dad's cruiser was still in the drive, which meant he was home when Stiles hadn't thought he would be, so Derek was sent to climb in through his window while he made an appropriately noisy entrance to make sure his dad was distracted - while trying to avoid actually seeing his dad so no questions were asked about the state he was in. It wasn't until he was done dealing with that particular balancing act that he realised problem number two. Well, problem number seventeen at this rate, to be honest.

"Uh... my dad's going to notice if we run the shower twice." he realises as soon as he's alone in his room with Derek "We're... we're going to have to shower together."
