in other words.

Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.
How to play -
1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have (no shipping, no smut, etc.)
2. Leave the comment blank or post a word or two in the body. (It may also help if you list scenarios you would like to play.)
3. Reply to other people, either with words you picked out, or words they posted as prompts for a thread.

Jean Louis likes his contrasts. That's why he shrouds his luxury in rags, apart from the obvious reason of not wanting to flaunt his riches too obviously. He may be a high-ranked politician but he's not, as it were, supposed to be a fucking billionaire.
Or, you know, richer than that.
Smiling to himself, he waits for his guest, scrolling through messages in his inbox, checking and double-checking. Some important meetings later in the day, best stay alert to avoid getting fucked over by the Greens, for instance. Again. ]

Anyway, he was halfway through his second portion of pancakes when the guys in suits came for him, telling him to follow along, did he have his tools, be discreet now. Okay... He'd followed, got into the car (standard black Audi, tinted windows) and they'd driven him to a part of town he probably wouldn't have found on his own. He didn't even know Luxembourg had ghettos, thought that was an Amsterdam invention, right?
The house they drop him off at is... concrete. Concrete and columns and a lot of gray. They show him in through the ground level which looks like an old warehouse. Where the fuck is this? Then, there's a garage and that's... something else, okay, that's... wow. Slick and screaming money and there's three fucking MCs in here, as well as three cars of which one is... Shit. You gotta be kidding him. An Aston Martin One-77. He just stares, kinda belatedly noticing the man leaning against it, smoking.
Jean Louis. Thijs would be able to pick out that profile anywhere now. The bodyguard types halt near the door, wait. Thijs steps forward slowly, hesitantly, nodding towards the car, though it might look like he's indicating Jean Louis as whole. ]
You're actually gonna let me touch that?

Both?
Jean Louis smiles at him. It's a friendly expression, though there's something a little bit rehearsed about it. Most people take it for granted these days, that he's not actually all that nice - that he'll pretend because it makes the system run more smoothly, that they'll respond in kind for the same reason. It's some twisted version of altruism, basically, scaffolded by the expectations of tax returns, of luxury and liberal happiness; the world of politics is a funny business but if nothing else, it's all quite predictable. ]
The radio's playing tricks. Can't seem to get any signal.
[ He hits the ignition key and the door opens on the driver's side. Then, he gives Thijs a very, very blatant look-over. Mm. Even better in 3D. ]

The man's even nicer than the car. That's really all he's thinking. Weirdly enough, he feels guilty about it. Thinking about the night prior, he feels kinda bad. Maybe it's because all this mechanic stuff's making him remember that, oh yeah, he's got Marcel back home.
Not that Marcel's ever... stopped him before, right? Then again, he's never... with another guy. ]
You got me here to look at your radio? [ Especially not a guy giving him a blatant elevator look as he moves over to the open car door, leaning in over the seat to look the dashboard over, fingering the radio a bit, turning it on and getting an ugly bout of white noise for his trouble. Definitely no signal. Twisting halfway out of the car to look at Jean Louis, expression open, both eyebrows raised, ass sticking out the way he's bent over, he licks his lips. ] I'm guessing I either need to upgrade the sound system from scratch or I need to play around with your antenna amplifiers.
[ And... why the fuck does everything have to sound like innuendo? God. ]

Sometimes, if only very rarely, Ganymede was struck by the desire to explore. Usually Greece, with the surrounding countries, or Turkey and his own natal coast if he was feeling particularly nostalgic would do. There were times that wasn't enough, and he got Hermes to drop him off somewhere for a couple days of hiking, not having to plan much less he felt like it, and having no need to figure how he would get back home.
Still, for all those urges to wander out under the sky and sun, he wasn't very fond of camping, so that did usually necessitate finding somewhere to stay. The lobby was empty aside from the man behind the desk, and Ganymede smiled, easy and bright, as he swung the backpack off his shoulders.
"I was directed up here from the town, so I hope you have at least one room available for a day or two." Normally, he wouldn't even intend to stay, a night being enough, but the surroundings had been beautiful on the walk here, practically inviting for at least a little wandering, and that was what he was here for, wasn't it? Particularly since he hadn't exactly ever spent much time in this part of the world through the years.

He slept far better next to her than he ever did with Ygritte or alone. The night passed without horrific memories or pain, a deep sleep that was much needed for his over exerted body and mind. A lover had a way of offering that, so long as they were closely tuned to your soul and heart, as Daenerys seemed meant to be.
He stirred, missing the heat of her skin next to him. When he sat up, he could see her on the balcony, watching the waves roll in. A lone figure of silver and white, something out of a story or song, but not one he could name easily. He went to her side, wrapping his arms about her waist as he drew her closer to him.]
