[The only reason Dahlia keeps K-2SO around is because sometimes she needs a strong pair of arms, and she finds people much easier to tolerate if she can program them to never reveal her secrets and turn them off occasionally when she's irritable. Which is to say, she doesn't tolerate people and she can barely tolerate droids.

Not that you'd know it when watching her at work. She's assigned to honey pot a relatively minor imperial official to get access to the Empire's network in the area. She sits by the official, a middle-aged man with the look of one who's never had much attention from women, and she giggles at all of his jokes, occasionally lightly touching his shoulder as he speaks. K-2, her 'bodyguard', stands next by the wall, within easy reacting distance if the man makes a move to hurt her, but it doesn't seem like it'll be necessary. The official seems absolutely smitten.

Dahlia mentions offhand that it's too bad she's run out of water, and the official leaps to get her more, clearly stifling a skip as he does. As he leaves earshot, Dahlia leans to address K-2, her face still fixed in a sweet, demure smile.]

Do you want to bet I can convince him to poison his superior by the end of the week?

"EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" The Doctor waved a hand at whoever it was running up behind him and put his finger to his lips. He held out his arm and backed further into the shadow of a building, sweeping the person behind him along, too.

The Daleks sailed on by. Distracted by jawas running this way and that along the streets of Mos Eisley, they didn't notice the Doctor huddling in the shadows. The sound of zaps followed the Daleks, but oddly, the Doctor heard the Daleks taking more than the usual amount of damage. He risked a peek around the corner and saw the Daleks struggling to adapt their shielding to the blasters the jawas were using.

Well. Things could be worse. A shadow passed overhead, and the Doctor glanced up. An Imperial ship was in low enough orbit to cast a shadow across the desert. As he watched, a smaller ship flew out from a landing bay in the belly of the craft. Ah. Well then.

He looked back at the person who ran up behind him. "You have fantastic timing."

"I'm not sure I'd go that far," the young man mutters, flattening himself against the wall of the alleyway with his own blaster in hand. More to himself than to the Doctor: "What the hell are those things?"

Humans talking more to themselves than to him has never stopped him from answering them anyway, and he's not going to make a habit of it now. "Daleks. They must have followed my ship when I cr...landed a few hours ago."

The Daleks keep firing at jawas and the occasional creature or droid that attempt to hit the Daleks with blaster-fire. Except for a few lucky hits that score the outside of the Daleks' armor, they're mostly unscathed.

"Friends of yours?" He's watching the chaos in the street intently, clearly biding his time until he sees an opportunity. He doesn't even cut a glance at the Doctor, though his tone is pointed.

[ Future friends? I'm open to all the genres, but adventure would probably be easiest to justify when the Doctor is involved. :D Whether that adventure then also includes mystery/horror/angst/fluff is all good with me! ]

[ As the existence of her world began to fade away, it would seem the remnants of Despair still lingered in the Neo World program. Like bugs that needed reprograming in order to situate the coding thusly. The one named Alter Ego told Nanami that her programing would soon cease to exist but that the Despair remnants were frolicking with an attempt to escape. She knew that her program could not be salvaged, that was the price of what it mean't to be her. Even if deep down, she had uttered a soft wish just like the one who was alive with her name.

'I want to Live.'

However, in order to get rid of the last bits of Despair clinging to the purity of this programing. As to not let it hang on or corrupt anything else, Nanami takes to the world and alter its entirety. With the help of her sister, Usami. The world changed into Neo Japan - a small place created in the liking of Tokoyo the city. Here she would fight off the Despair Remnants taking form in the shape of Villainous like beings who try to corrupt the pretend world that was created. Riddled with pretend people, the Despair Remnants are coaxed into coming out thinking they were going to contaminate these ghosts of people. Only to be defeated by the Magical Girl Duo.

Perhaps that is how Usagi comes upon them - whether it is because the earnest wish of a girl wanting to live. Or for whatever narrative reason she finds herself in this digital world - it is here that they go on their adventure to fight the Despair Remnants and debug the Neo World.]

[Indeed, Usagi would find this world, the Silver Crystal nestled in her brooch reacting to the earnest wish. She couldn't let this wish go unfulfilled, to let this world disappear in despair and sadness.

Umiko and Usami would find themselves spared from a group of Despair by the sailor-suited heroine before them. She may be a year or so younger than them, but she would help and protect them no matter what.]

I'm here to help, don't worry.

[ Locks of hair gently sway, the girl before her is a sight for sore eyes. At first she wonders idly, had she created something from her own memories? Was she even capable of such a feat like this? Umiko (Nanami) stared at the other and the offered words to her, and her heart felt itself clenching tightly. ]

How... Did you get here?

[ Although she is calm, she is also very worried. Did she trap someone else in here with her? ]

[Her gloved hand touched her brooch, letting it open to show the crystal inside.]

So pure and gentle, even upon looking at it Umiko felt herself touched by a bit of softness. Usami who had turned into the magical wand she held in her hand. Glistened with colors and then spoke softly, while Umiko was lost in her thoughts, 'Can you do it? Can you make her wish come true!??!' ]

[Usagi wanted to reach out to the two, embrace them and reassure them.]

[ Nanami is not opposed to the hug, but she is still in disbelief. What did she do to earn this miracle - further... How did her wish reach out to someone beyond the world of her voice? ]

I don't want you to get hurt here... This is not a good place to be.

[ With so many questions upon her mind, and the gentleness of this stranger. Nanami wondered if something would happen to them both, if they were not careful. ]

I understand. But, it's my place to help those in need, so I will risk the pain.

[She'll pull back and smile at Nanami.]

[ The words are so harsh and sudden even. The fragility of her calmness breaking if for a moment, 'What was this she thought? Hope? Would a miracle really come about even for someone like her?' The nervousness of what she felt, even now as she knows the world closes in on them. Nanami would stay determined until everything of despair left by her who died, was gone from this world. ]
