Doesn't everyone like to be pampered and spoiled? You could certainly understand the desire. How about receiving the benefits of experience and knowledge...through someone else, someone older than you and more distinguished? Be good, then, and you'll be rewarded. Be bad - well, remember: a punishment isn't off the table for someone with your youth.

They're so young - yet so, so tempting. But you know what they say. The more forbidden the fruit, the sweeter the juice. They're absolutely off-limits. And wouldn't you love to taste them, no matter if you feel guilty or not? Look at yourself. Do you feel like a pervert? This person could be an outlier, or maybe you've always had a weakness, even if you didn't realize it before. At least you can take care of them like few others chasing after them could. You know exactly what they want and need.

Comment with your character, information, and what role they'll play.
Is there an age gap? Is this actually illegal? It could be kink play, though, or characters acting older and younger.
Please note that there also doesn't need to be daddy kink "play" if you don't want it. There could just be an older/younger or an inexperienced/refined dynamic. Just be sure to clarify how heavy or light you'd prefer to go.

( no canon age, but estimated to be 16-17; bookworm, ace student, and a martial arts apprentice who loves to chase his chivalrous hero dreams on the down-low when injustices spark in his homeland. love a student/teacher dynamic toward an older party, or even just a jailbait lean, but mostly with enthusiasm on Xingqiu's part as he's earned some feelings of admiration for someone he looks up to. for castmates, open to really anyone, but especially Zhongli, Lisa, Tartaglia, or Diluc. cross canon is welcome too.

hurt/comfort stuff, after-study or training, trying to keep it secret, confessions/discovery of feelings/interest, daddy kink play (Xingqiu comes from a wealthy family, but it seems his parents are far more business than affectionate, happy to play with that opportunity,) and/or Xingqiu being enthusiastically affectionate on the older person through courting gestures or physical affection, are just some initial ideas.

[ It's not infrequently that Lisa sees library patrons blush when she reinforces rules, or says from a conspiring but polite distance that she wishes they had time to go out for lunch later.

But when a polite, eager visitor from Liyue responds to Lisa's compliment of 'You've been such a big help today, cutie!' by pausing for the faintest moment before straightening back up as much as he can (still no taller than Lisa's collarbone) and promising his unfailing loyalty and support to her profession and her building, it still catches her attention. It's so understated, so polite, and that makes it all the more...endearing of him.

And he stays polite about it, too. Even as Lisa can tell he's growing more eager by the day - offering to help out when he can, doing so even from a distance. At one point, he seemingly orchestrates an entire chain of affairs involving his back home inheritance of the Feiyun Commerce Guild's funds being funneled towards the capture of a certain book thief who'd otherwise remained at large for the past six weeks. It's subtle enough even Jean needs a few days to figure out who to quietly thank for his help. Once she tells Lisa about it, Lisa waits for Xingqiu to be leaving for the day with his most recent book of choice and then touches him lightly, on the outside of his shoulder, for attention before telling him 'We all appreciated that, you know,' and he'd looked so surprised before he smiled back at her.

He's sweet. Sweet and clever, and so very kind about both of those things, even if he's almost too eager - to help, to stay hidden while helping, to flourish his skills whenever hiding them finally isn't necessary.

So it's only natural, perhaps, that Lisa lets him come with her (Lisa lightens her workload slightly by asking him to come with her-) on a brief journey to bring back the most recent pilfered book.

Xingqiu's Hydro Vision unleashes water at the final hilichurl, and Lisa reaches one arm casually past his shoulder, elbows nearly touching, to let her Vision join his. Electricity crackles violet through the length of Xingqiu's gift, and the fight is won in a literal flash.

...Lisa yawns. ] I can't believe they still thought they'd ever get away with that. Xingqiu, you did such a wonderful-- Oh, [ The returned haziness to her expression is gone in an instant, and she reaches out to touch Xingqiu for only the second time since this has all begun.

His arm is cut and bleeding on the outer edge where he'd blocked an attack earlier. Nothing deep, but more than she'd realized had happened. Her tone shifts and softens into something soothing, calmly pitying. ] Darling, sit down. Let me clean this out for you, won't you?

( hardly as if Xingqiu's parents are actively out to direct him off of the path of Guhua and its unexpected renaissance due to his engagement; surprised as they have been to see his passion toward what they thought would be a novelty interest, they can't complain about what a dedicated pupil he remains to be in his studies, or his assistance with the Commerce Guild that he will likely never inherit, lest tragedy chooses to reshuffle the deck of their fortune.

but they would love for their son to balance his daily responsibilities with...less-exciting, but no-less fruitful ventures. library assistant...now, doesn't that sound perfectly safe?

they clearly had no insight behind the Mondstadt librarian's reputation.

and who would think that it may all come down to mischievous Abyss mages and enthusiastic hilichurls hoarding overdue or outright stolen books? even Xingqiu could not anticipate such tightly-curled twists and turns in the life of Lisa Minci, and this is on a 'rather quiet week' in her words. (Xingqiu has heard passing remarks on someone by the name of Klee, who...given the anecdotes he's cobbled together, he is not entirely prepared to consider confronting any time soon.)

what he expected less than all had been how...absolutely lovely Mondstadt's librarian would be — almost to a point that feels threatening to some of Xingqiu's sensibilities, far from looming or oppressive! but...for a burgeoning young man, he can't quite figure out what it leaves him feeling when she sighs the word 'cutie' or 'darling' at him in her syrupy tone. it is far and away from the same phenomenon as when Lady Beidou ruffles his hair and calls him other infantilizing things; but with Lisa, it makes his exquisite clothes feel stifling to wear. why does he...like it so much?

he attributes it all to her, an all too-simple reason, yet the most thoroughly encompassing.

curating the vast collection entrusted to Lisa is satisfying enough on its own — not always alone together, even with a few quiet patrons roaming in the immediate area, Xingqiu enjoys spending time with the witch, learning her structured systems and impeccable book-keeping, and honoring her with impeccable practice from her instruction. it's quieter than martial artistry, but no-less fulfilling or enriching.

but...when the excuse comes to draw his sword beside her catalyst, his heart thrills even more.

perhaps enough that he scarcely notices the real extent of the injury that has been painted into his arm. Xingqiu is nearly marching up to collect that which belongs to the library from the hilichurl's now-abandoned camp when his feet stop him suddenly before he can process why—

her touch.

his arm — Xingqiu, expression open with surprise for her, manages to look the part when he looks down to where she regards him. an archer hilichurl...ah, he had truly nearly forgotten, with how swiftly the creature had been dispatched so shortly after launching an arrow at them, caught narrowly by Xingqiu's arm. the rain swords have lightened the severity of the wound, but they have since expired, leaving him with a still-oozing laceration, as well as... )

—Curses. ( Xingqiu sighs in disdain, his free hand coming to twist the fabric of his torn and stained sleeve around into better view. so much for a 'a quieter kind of extracurricular activity.' ) Mother is not going to be pleased about this...

( but then — Xingqiu causes his own embarrassment. cheeks already blooming swiftly with a sunsettia hue, he looks up to Lisa feeling strangely small. what a...juvenile and unseemly thing to say in front of a grown woman. a grown woman that is now...cooing over him, wanting to tend to him. his throat, like clockwork, begins to feel a little tight, his pulse a little swifter. he would attribute it to the end of their battle...but he's learned that this feeling can even occur between bookshelves in absolute solitude when in Lisa's presence. ) Ah. Anyway, I'm... I will be fine, but this is quite a mess, isn't it?

( the coat is ruined, and surely the blouse underneath as well, but Xingqiu should have his arm wrapped up to ease the bleeding and get his cut to begin healing for good. as much as he resents his own self-infantilizing comment, he looks at Lisa and...knows that it's only reasonable to take her help. )
