[ Sara's never been much of a cook, but here she is. Snapping out of a daze to find herself staring down at a pan full of bacon sizzling on the griddle. The sharp smell of freshly brewed coffee twists in the air alongside breakfast, the sunshine warm on her bare legs. Thankfully, the oversized Gotham City PD t-shirt she's wearing is enough to protect against the splatter of bacon, and she frowns as she transfers the last few strips to a plate.

Somehow, it feels like routine - her motions quick and precise, practiced, despite the very distinct feeling that something's... not quite right. Her brow furrows thoughtfully as she takes a sip of her coffee, head perking up when she hears footsteps descending the stairs. ]
