[And here Gaius sits, munching on a bonbon, looking bored. He's really not sure why he, out of the entire Ylissean army, ended up being the face of this booth. Sure, the royals were off the table, due to good ol' Freddybear being liable to light someone on fire for trying, but not like their merry band lacks for lookers or anything... And he's a thief, for cripes' sake. If they're that hard up he should just be making use of his sticky fingers and getting it!

And even if you aren't aware that Altarias are amazing huggers or that their wings are one of the softest things in the Pokemon world... you know you can't resist hugging the giant fluffy cloud-bird. ]

Jesper's cheeks went pink when he saw a large 'kissing booth' sign and Jesper standing front and center as the main - only - attraction. He was already fumbling for some small bit of coin when he noticed just what Jesper was advertising. There was a part of him that wanted to believe the best. That wanted to believe that Jesper really did want a fresh start. On the other hand, his good sense knew better.

He tucked his hands firmly into his pockets as if that was what he'd meant all the time and walked up to where Jesper had his booth.

"I'm not sure I should contribute to your delinquency," he said softly. But now his eyes kept getting drawn back to Jesper's lips and what might have been.

[This has probably not been Eirika's first plan of action and it's likely not even been hers at all, but rather suggested to her by one of her own. She doesn't appear to be the sort to go out of her way for attention, even if it is for a good cause. She's poised at her stall, looking slightly uncomfortable, beside a sign that has been appropriately done up.

Whatever that 'something good' is, however, could potentially be a bit debatable. But a kiss would probably be better than being stuck by a rapier.]

[He's sitting behind a booth with a couple of other guys, one of whom is bubbly and eager, the other surly and playing on a gameboy with apparently no intention of participating in this ridiculous fundraising attempt. It looks like they put it together themselves, and is leaning just a little bit, though it does at least look reasonably sturdy. There's a banner along the top of it reading, in slightly off-kilter painted letters, ZGOK FUNDRAISER, with a smaller sign attached to the front explaining that this is a kissing, hugging, or photo booth depending on what someone is willing to pay. They need the cash to pay for transportation around the country while they tour, and this was how their vocalist decided they would do that.]

[ In a ripoff version of a wuxia universe, it's really not surprising at this point maybe to find a kissing booth - but maybe it is? In any case, they're fed up with Bai Zhan claiming more than half the yearly expenses for the sect (mostly medical, though apparently the price of replacing all the broken weapons and equipment and not to mention, buildings, isn't just lunch money either - according to Shang Qinghua).

Which is why Liu Qingge, slayer of demons, the peak lord of Bai Zhan, the war god - is forced into this whole fiasco in the first place. He has got his arms crossed over his chest in a determined fashion that broaches no argument (or offers of kisses), and he has a heavy frown on his handsome features, glaring at anyone who comes within a few metres of the booth. ]

Blitzo may or may not be in drag with a giant blonde wig to hide his equally large horns. This does nothing, however, to hide the fact his skin is still red and white and the spade of his tail can occasionally be seen twitching beneath the hem of his pant leg or skirt, whichever he may be in. He's probably boredly playing on his phone or cleaning knives. ]

There it is explained in detail how the money raised will help getting food rations, better communication, medic and warfare equipment, along with fixing their ships and building up new bases. Everything needed to defeat the evil First Order! Come do your part and earn a kiss!]

[ Monika's booth is very elaborate, very pink and with lots of cute little heart decorations. The sign above her is very flashy and in multiple colors, and there is a board right next to the booth with more details. It's clearly something she spent a lot (too much) time working on. ]

Literature is important, but why would anyone go to a library when you can get everything for free on the internet? You need to pay and go fetch books with very strict deadlines. Things most people would see as inconveniences in modern society. The Doki Doki Library aims to provide a space where people can come and fetch books for free, with a friendly atmosphere and lenient deadlines. Should we raise enough money, we hope to have a social space where people can discuss and share their literary discoveries, as well as a silent reading room for those of us who prefer to immerse themselves into strange new worlds rather than discuss them.
