The Star Wars AU meme

Your character. Your character in the Star Wars universe. Are they a Jedi? Bounty hunter? Just a normal citizen drinking blue milk? The stars are the limit. Go forth into this new galaxy and may the Force be with you.

(You are HIGHLY encouraged to write at least a little bit about what role you think your character would have. Maybe toss out some scene ideas. It's not entirely necessary, though it makes things easier.)

[MOST of the grand army of the Republic was clones, but not ALL of it. Republic Commando codename "Tracer" was the victim of a tragic misshap with an experimental new teleporting star fighter, leaving her chronally dissociated until a wookiee scientist built a device that keeps her anchored to the present moment etc etc etc.

Now, with the rise of the Galactic Empire, most of those still loyal to the Republic are on the run or keeping their heads down. But Tracer was never good at NOT doing things...

Catch her leading raids on Imperial supply depots to supply the Rebellion, meeting contacts at shady spaceport bars, or musing about the Good Old Days of the Republic.]

[This version of Ben never went to the darkside. He's a mildly cranky Resistance pilot/smuggler.]

[A Jedi Knight who is infamous among the order for having spent several years going rogue as he rampaged across the Outer Rim with his sister on a two Jedi rampage against slavers as they both fell deeper and deeper into the grip of the Dark Side. Eventually, Jaika had a moment of clarity and decided to pull out, while his sister went deeper and became a Sith Lord. The resulting duel caused an explosion that left him permanently blinded.

He's spent the last few years trying to fit back in with the Jedi Order, but the fact is that most other Jedi don't trust him anymore, and that despite everything he DOES still have a lot of anger in him at what he sees as the failings of the Order. He keeps this hidden beside of a façade of polite sarcasm and cheesy blind jokes.

And yes, I promise I came up with this character concept BEFORE I watched Rebels.

Catch him doing all the shitty assignments none of the more trusted Jedi want to do. Investigating suspicious garbage scows and such.]

[He was on the verge of passing the trials to become a full-blown Jedi Knight himself. But then his Master died. He didn't agree with being told not to mourn her, and knew he wasn't going to be able to pass his trials without her, so instead of letting himself be shuffled into a service position at the Temple, he packed up and left.
A couple years later Order 66 and the Purge followed and he's been keeping himself and his abilities hidden as best he can.]

[ This Leia was written by the fun folks over at Blue Milk Special web comics. She's honestly a cross between canon Leia and Carrie herself. She swears, she smokes, she drinks, she has all kinds of attitude and she is very 4th wall aware. Have fun with that. ]

[An experienced officer of the Republic navy who was starting to be gently encouraged to consider retirement, Avanti Kadam took to the fall of the Republic by gleefully taking her entire ship and crew and going rogue as a space pirate.

The cool kind of space pirates, though. Not the kinds that murder innocent people, the kind of that strike at Imperial supply convoys from deadly asteroid fields and strike fear into the hearts of Star Destroyer captains everywhere, but are surprisingly kind when the stumble upon civilians, even if they deny it later.

Kadam needs a crew of quirky misfits who were all too eager to turn on the Empire with her, though. As a person, she's a bit distant, equally at home at a high class party as she is in the heat of battle, an aggressive and unpredictable commander, and also a raging lesbian with a long history of broken hearts she's left behind her. In her early 50s. Has an eyepatch.]

Seriously though, sequel trilogy era, he's watched the rise of the First Order and he's gotten pissed, because the Empire already got overthrown once, so he's out of retirement and throwing in his lot with doing what's right.

Yes, there were four of them even before they picked her up, no, she doesn't care that it's a misnomer. She's just trying to survive.]

While all her sisters were chanting over bubbling cauldrons and making shady deals with Sith Lords, Gideon was busy working out and getting swole as fuck and reading dirty magazines she got imported from the rare trader willing to risk landing on Dathomir. She has a sword. Not a lightsaber, an honest to god made of metal sword.

She was set as Harrowhark's (another Nightsister) bodyguard, but a pirate attack got them separated and now Gideon is loose in the galaxy, searching for her boss and also causing a non-negligible amount of chaos along the way.]
