Maybe you're feeling down, maybe you're perfectly fine.  But the magical powers that be have gifted you with arm full of your baby animal of choice.

• You COULD leave your top post blank... but why do that when you could post a picture or a gif of the darling babies your character has been blessed with? Or post a sentence or two with your character's reaction to the joyous occasion.

He's looking rough and exhausted, drinking coffee in a hotel lobby or restaurant with and adorable rat on his shoulder that he is sharing his toast and fruit with. Bønne is peering out from under his hair and nuzzling with against his cheek while he scratches her head.

While Minoru is sitting around a truly large, feathered snake appears. It is rather like a dragon because it has legs but the body is long, narrow and snake like. The tail ending in a fan of feathers. The feathers rainbow and the eyes faceted like bright blue gems. It has come to nuzzle the snake despite its huge size.

Thomas is sitting out at an outdoor restaurant under an umbrella with a glass and a bottle of gin. There are cats sitting all around him. All of them watching everyone very closely. They don't look exactly welcoming but they are behaving like normal cats. Closer inspection of the area shows even more cats watching.

Megatron isn't sure when or why he fell into recharge while sitting on the front porch of Loki's house, but it happened. The last thing he remembers is talking to the big red catwing that rules the wild side of the property while he was leaning against the house on the porch. He is still leaning against the house on the porch.

However, he is now, apparently, a baby catwing tree. There are kittens on his pauldrons. There is a kitten on top of his head. There are kittens in his lap and he dare not bend his knee, for the spoiler that covers his knee joint and makes a sort of cove over his lower thigh now contains at least two sleeping kittens.

It sure is a good thing he didn't have any pressing plans for the afternoon.

[So, apparently catwings inhabit the woods of nexus_crossings, and a bunch of them live on coldsong's property. The incongruity of this adorably silly mental image is something that I just can't resist.]

While Megatron is assessing his situation, he may notice a few towels have been set out nearby, as well as dishes of clean water. If cats are going to visit one's property en masse, it's only appropriate to treat them as guests.

But there's a large, non-winged specimen of felinity on the porch watching all the proceedings. Its expression is a little tricky to read, but the tip of its tail twitches with interest, and the whiskers are spread and angled forward.

It's a smoke-colored Norwegian forest cat, in point of fact, and its eyes are so very, very green...knowing Loki as Megatron does, he might pick up on who this one is rather quickly.

Don't worry; he's already taken plenty of pictures.

It's spring, and dusk, and there are all kinds of frogs and bugs singing in the meadow and around the pond at the bottom of the little dell outside Cricket's home. Normally, this would be the time he's going in to sleep, but that's not going to happen just yet tonight.

He's surrounded by peeping baby chickens of all kinds, and drowsy baby Highland cattle in every possible shade of fur.

The Doctor is gently petting it, but he looks sad - isn't petting such things supposed to cheer you up? Well, maybe most people but things are never quite so simple for the Doctor.

When someone approaches, he speaks quietly. "Last of it's entire planet. I was too late to save anything else."

The green robot cat with black detailing is as tall as the Doctor when she stands on all fours, but her paws would indicate that she is not done growing yet. It's hard not to notice, because for some reason, her forepaws are a bright red, like the badges on her shoulders.

Viridian wishes her guardians were there, so they could see why she doesn't think she could ever join their faction, although she knows that her guardians have pledged that the faction will do no more cyberforming of living planets under their rule.

Then, because it's rude to talk about a third party as if they weren't present, she asks, very softly, "Is this a sapient animal, like a human? Because if so, I am uncomfortable not including them in the conversation. Bipedal mecha have done that to me, and my mother."

[At present, Sephiroth is flocked by baby chocobos. They're mostly flapping their little wings, picking at bits of hair and his coat with utmost curiosity. He seems confused but not unpleasantly so. You might even catch him gently scritch-scratching some of the babies that hop their way up his arms. Their mother is nearby, settled comfortably on the ground and seemingly grateful for a break from her noisy children.
