"I know," she said. "I think they're about the size of a bean at this point."

She put her hand over his. "It's in there though. Either that or 3 pregnancy tests are wrong."

He laughed. "Just imagine how big you'll get."

"Id rather not," she groaned. "Will you still love me when I'm as big as a house and covered in stretch marks?"

"Always. Are you kidding me? I could never stop loving you."

She put her hand on his cheek again and leaned in to kiss him again.

"I'm so lucky."

He shook his head. "I'm the lucky one."

"Im glad you still feel that way," she said.

"You're amazing, Ariadne. I'm always the lucky one."

"That may be, but I just became a much bigger responsibility," she pointed out.

He sighed. "Well, yeah, I've got two of you to look out for."

"You know I can look out for myself," she pointed out. "But it'll be nice to have your help going through this. It's a little scary actually."

"Yeah, I can't imagine giving birth."

She snorted lightly.

"Yeah, me neither."

He turned and kissed her temple.

She sighed and closed her eyes.

"You'll be a good mom. I know it."

"I hope so," she said. "You'll be a good dad, too."

"Yeah? You think so?" He looked a little unsure.

"Uh huh," she said with a nod. "You're really good with your sister."

"Yeah, but...this is a baby."

"So, we'll both learn," she said. "We won't be the first clueless people to ever have a baby."

"True...but, I mean, I'm still...my head..."

"I know," she said taking his hand. "We'll work it out. We'll write everything down and put reminders on everything important. And your short term memory has already gotten better."

He nodded. "Yeah, it has." It was still foggy from time to time, but for the most part, he was okay.

"And we'll read all the books and take all the classes," she noted.
