Three weeks ago, a door had opened, spitting Coda back into the world. No home, no family, no clue what they were doing in what was, to them, the future.
Two weeks ago, Artemis had found them, half starved and lost, wandering around barefoot, overwhelmed by the lights and sounds of the city.
Now...
It's a quiet evening in Artemis's apartment. Coda's curled up on the couch with a mug of hot cocoa. They're still timid, still easily overwhelmed, and they hardly know how to talk about what's happened since they 'broke free'. But the time with Artemis has slowly brought them out of their shell, in little bits and pieces. It's strange, to him they look completely human, at least until those dark nights when moonlight kisses their skin and their eyes almost seem to glow.

[I love myself some Genshin, so I'd be very interested in throwing my boy into Teyvat and Zhongli. Pegasus here brought monsters back into his world, tore souls out of people, killed, and his corruption was to some extent influenced by the Millennium Eye (though he wilfully fell into this corruption), so he somewhat fits your ideal stray. Depending on your preference, he could be actively in that mindset, or he could be post-Millennium Eye removal and trying to improve himself. Fair warning: the Millennium Eye enables him to read peoples thoughts/emotions/memories, and he'll definitely try that if he has it.

He is the type who would pick a stray dog especially if the canine looks wet and miserable. Be prepared to live at the Uraniborg (his clan's space colony/artificial planet/fortress) and probably accompany him during diplomatic trips to various different planets. Animal-shape is preferable but that is not saying that it is impossible for a shifter/changeling/were to slip past the radar if he doesn't know about the existence of the species.

He had supposed to have died in that final battle, followed his former lover into death. But it didn't quite work out that way. The cockpit of Tallgeese was protected, insulated. Though the reactor of the mobile suit had acted oddly.
Zechs managed to get himself out of the mangled cockpit and collapsed onto the ground. It was soft and warm. Sand? He rolled onto his back and stared up at the sky, taking deep breaths. Everything hurt. The pain indicated he was alive. He flung an arm over his face, wondering just where he ended up on Earth.
After a moment, he forced himself to his feet. Zechs winced and then finally looked around. Well, he didn't recognize the area, but that meant nothing.

[ hello there! we actually already have/had a thread with my abbacchio (this is ~moodyblue's writer) but i saw your new cr cheat sheet mentioned genshin, and well- would you be interested in a thread with zhongli perchance? and two follow-up questions: is ship a definite necessity for you (i'm good with it even with the gap, just usually like starting gen and seeing where it goes) and would you like to mostly use genshin's basic setting just fused with jjk's magic system, or moreso modern/jjk setting as well with fused magic? ]

At first, it was just one, but then more started coming from different directions. Using her powers to send them flying only works so long, before they're back on their feet and chasing her again. Stumbling over a raised tree root, Daisy's ankle twists but it's not until she tries to get back up that she realizes she's at the very least tweaked it.]
