We've see it everywhere. Rings inside pokeballs, in cakes, in drinks, during baseball games and more. This meme pinpoints on some of the more interesting (and really adorable!) ways to tell someone you want to spend the rest of your life with them!

Scenarios:
1. Down on One Knee
Traditionally. Either in public or privately, one of you has taken the daring risk of becoming completely vulnerable in the midst of the other. You've got the perfect ring tucked into your coat jacket, and now all that's left is to see how the other reacts.

2. Cake
After a long, very expensive dinner, all that's left is dessert. In one bite in particular, you feel a hard... something hit your teeth. Upon investigating this strange object, you find a beautiful ring covered in cake in your hand. Look up, and you'll find your significant other looking at you with those adorable goo goo eyes you just love.

3. Fortune Cookie
It's your average night at the local Chinese restaurant, nothing too special. And of course, every American knows that a good Chinese meal is never over until you eat the fortune cookie. But on this night, you crack open your cookie, surprised to find there's a lovely little ring looking back at you. The slip of paper that goes with all fortune cookies reads a simple: "Will you marry me?"(in bed???)

4. During the Game
In the midst of the tired players taking their much-earned break at half time, and the seemingly hundreds of birthday wishes flying past on the large screen, one message, in particular, will stand out to you. " ____ will you marry me?" And when you turn to your lover, heart thumping loudly, you'll see a huge ring presented before you.

5. In a Book
Just a quiet night together, playing some games, reading a few books. Upon locating a particular book, you crack it open, only to find that the pages have been hollowed out, leaving only a beautiful ring and a delicate note saying "Will you marry me?" in its place.

6. During the Movies
A.k.a MysteryGuitarMan on Youtube's most adorable proposal. You've prepared a little scene at the beginning of the movies, and had the people in charge play in between movie previews. The lights go up, buddy, and now it's your time to shine!

7.One Balloon
Better known as "the most adorable scene in Super Junior's No One music video." You've got tons of balloons, and together you and your honey let them go fly into the sky. But why didn't you let the last one go? I'll say that ring attached to the end has something to do with it!

8. Anything!
There is no doubt in my mind that I have missed out on some really cute proposals, so make your own up!

When Rachel arrived at the St. James theater, she was confused. Usually when they met up at the theatre it was to see a show, and the St. James theater had been dark for almost two months after breaking the set for a large performance that had run for the last two years. They loved attending the theater almost as much as they enjoyed being on stage. They went to everything from big box performances to small obscure new shows that weren’t part of the official Broadway network. Yet, here she is, standing by the door of the theater peeking in through the front doors, seeing absolutely no one inside, and very few lights on.

She considers that maybe she’d heard him wrong, maybe he’d said something else and she’d just heard him wrong. After all, he shared a last name with the theater. She’s sure though that she didn’t hear him wrong and after walking back and forth along the line of windows, she pulls out her phone to bring up his messages. She was in the right place, dressed nicely as he’d requested, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Thankfully she sees someone walking up the door and a security guard opens the door, looking like he’s on his way out. She quickly asks him if he’s seen Jesse St. James, and he casually offers that he thinks he’s still there, and holds the door open for her. “Thank you,” she offers politely and heads in. The guard nods to her and tells her that he’s heading out but that the door will just lock behind her whenever she leaves. She looks at him a bit confused, but he tells her goodnight and he’s off quickly. Now she’s even more confused, but at least she’s inside.

The St. James theater holds a special place in her heart as it was the first stage she’d performed on Broadway playing Fanny in Funny Girl. Things hadn’t ended all that well, but she had such fond memories of her time there despite it. Being back reminds her of every performance and the way she’d loved the energy.

She has no idea where Jesse could be and the main lights are off. Between the dim light and the silence, the ambiance was a little creepy, so she hopes to locate her boyfriend as quickly as possible. Luckily she knows the theater like the back of her hand and she makes her way through the large doors into the orchestra seats. The whole theater is also dimly lit and the curtains are drawn on stage. She makes her way down the aisle, her fingers tapping along the seatbacks as she heads towards the stage. She looks around her, hoping to hear Jesse’s familiar voice, but she hears nothing and her imagination is starting to get away with her.

As she climbs the steps up to the stage, she’s torn between being afraid she’s at risk of being murdered, and moving into the middle of the stage and belting out a reprise of ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ for old time’s sake. Her nerves win out though and when she catches sight of some shadow up in the balcony, she’s practically trembling.

“Hello!?? Jesse!? Are you here?” She has an odd sense of deja-vu, but she’s too focused on how creepy the whole thing is that she doesn’t have the ability to focus on the memory. She just wants to know where her boyfriend is. “Hello!?!”
