But Cyborg's powers turn him into an ever-watchful Argus Panoptes, cycling his way through multitudes of surveillance footage and CCTV, and so it's easy enough for him to track the other man's movements across the continent.

And, above all, he can sense that titanium arm, the Soviet engineering humming and whirring away to itself. (There's something subtly wrong in it, a hinge that never aligned right after the soldier's last battle, and it pains him when the weather changes. Like arthritis.) Sliding plates like armour. It's a brutish thing, a mechanical fist.

Tonight, Bucky Barnes has gotten unlucky. The police have caught sight of him, and a call to SHIELD isn't far off; they're circling the block and to the Cyborg's eyes, one stray unattended camera showed the fugitive taking refuge in an alley. Hunkered down by the wall, frantically thinking.

He could tear his way through the cops and to freedom, could just punch right through them and fling them out of his way — but god, he doesn't want to.
