[It's a well-known fact that Sakusa Kiyoomi hates crowds, which is partly why Valentines Day and White Day are among his least favorite holidays. No matter how notorious Kiyoomi is for rejecting his suitors, his reputation does nothing to dissuade hormone-fueled strangers from invading his space to offer him chocolate and confessions. Year after year, Kiyoomi dreads the days leading up to the holidays, his skin crawling where he imagines other people touching him.

That's why this year, Kiyoomi has a plan. He's thought about it from all angles, and all that's left is to finally implement it. Which might be easier had he not waited to ask a vital component of his plan if he would even play along.

Texting simply wouldn't do. It has to be in person. Because even if it's fake, Kiyoomi intends to ask his longtime crush and rival to be his boyfriend.

Kiyoomi isn't the type who likes to leave his house unless he absolutely can't help it, and this is a situation that he absolutely can't help. And so, armed with extra face masks and hand sanitizer, he sets off for Miyagi. He leaves early, hoping to be there for lunch. He still needs to take the train back, after all, and he looks forward to the return trip with all the enthusiasm of the one he's currently undergoing. (His scowl lasts all of the four long hours of the ride, and he glares at anybody who rests their shoes on another seat until they leave.)

By the time Kiyoomi arrives in Sendai and makes it to Shiratorizawa Academy, he could use a good bath. Kiyoomi grits and bears it, determined to stick to his plan. And that requires marching up directly to Wakatoshi's dorm and giving it a knock. He pays all of the prying eyes and whispers around him no mind; they don't matter, anyway. Kiyoomi pulls his sleeve over his knuckles before knocking, promptly pocketing his hands once more.]
